"Ramtha" And The Thurston County Commissioners
I was
vaguely aware of J. Z. Knight,
and knew that she had founded the very profitable Ramtha cult not far from here.
But I had not realized she was involved in
politics.
Washington State Republicans called Yelm spiritual leader JZ Knight "an intolerant bigot"
Tuesday, after video of her surfaced online making a variety of insensitive remarks about
Catholics, Jews and homosexuals.
Knight, who claims she channels the 35,000-year-old Ramtha at her School of
Enlightenment, has stepped into politics this campaign season after donating $50,000 to the
Democratic party and $8,100 to other candidates.
Let's just say that "insensitive" doesn't quite capture how crude her rants are.
Before I give the link, I must warn you that the video is not fit for young children, or most
work places. So, with that warning,

If you look at the video, or just read the text accompanying the video, you will see that
this is an attack on two
Thurston County
commissioners, Sandra Romero and Cathy Wolfe.
To be fair, I have to add that I have no knowledge about the truth of those charges, though
I can say that I would not want to have Knight's support, if I were a public official.
And for those not familiar with Washington politics, I should say that our local political
fights are rarely this strange or this exciting.

1. Is should not be a surprise to anyone, the demoncrats can't even mention God in their official platform. They hate god! When they were called on this at their own convention, they had to take three NO votes, and then never getting to a YES vote about including god in their platform, they looked at each other and ruled that the final No vote was really a Yes vote.

2. She looks drunk. She's ranting like a drunken fool. I mean no insults to drunken fools.
3. With her hobby of multiple DUI's (She didn't get the nickname "Wrong Way" for nuthin'.) I'm surprised she could get elected dog catcher.

5. House Republicans file complaint about 45th District Democrats hiding the source of multiple contributions to Democrat Roger Goodman's campaign. Apparently they are running scared about this race, considering we learned that Goodman was called "Out of the mainstream" for the district by the Seattle Times, presumably for his many pot group appearances and being far too beholden to the usual special interests in Olympia.

6. Speaking for, or "channeling", demonic spirits certainly renders Knight eminently qualified for inclusion into the (God hating) Dimocrat Party's "big tent".

I agree with the above about her likely being many 'sheets to the wind' in this rant.

9. Knew a nutcase who lived outside Yelm for a while and was a member of the cult. Very sad, gullible disturbed people who are serial joiners in with an intense need to belong. Cults like Scientology and Ramtha prey on the weak. And they kind of remind me of Leftists/Progressives. Leftism is a cult of emotion and personality as well. Those who I know on the left are overly preoccupied with others, emotional causes, appearing to be part of the "in" political group of their peers, etc. And on the Left there is a deep seated need to be part of the collective for those on the Left. Be it a union, a member of Hope and Change with the bumper sticker prominently displayed, a green shopper with the "look at me" canvas tote bag, Prius driver with the politically correct car that cost a lot more than a ULEV and is no more efficient, etc.
If you are about individualism and freedom, chances are you don't need others to make yourself feel good, you are not in a cult and you don't vote Democrat.

23. Joanie is channeling JZ - she is an educator too, so parents beware. She shows up on this blog on occasion. It was recently found that JZ is endorsed by the Obama campaign and has been in communication with them.
I'd like to see that JZ gets a frontal lobotomy, but that is unlikely. It might do the hag some good though.
