Brett Kimberlin

This Brett Kimberlin thing is pretty nuts. He's a convicted terrorist (for bombings in Indiana in 1978), and is apparently threatening people online for trying to out him: Robert Stacy McCain claims he has fled Maryland in response (after only a few days of McCain posting stories about Kimberlin).

There's a lot that Kimberlin is alleged to be responsible for, in addition to his convictions for forgery, bombings, drug smuggling, perjury, etc. Many think his bombings were an attempt to cover up a separate murder. And more recently, it's believed he is making criminal threats, and, worse, actually calling the police claiming to be the target of his harassment, saying he's just murdered people, and giving the target's address. Someone did this to an L.A. County Deputy Prosecutor that Kimberlin disliked, and he suspects it was a certain friend of Kimberlin's (who happened to call him as the SWAT team arrived at his house).

It's hard to figure out what's actually going on with Kimberlin, but one thing's for sure: there's a lot more people trying to figure it out now than a week ago.

1. Thanks for posting pudge. That crazy bully Kimberlin needs to go down in flames.

2. Oh and let's all note that Kimberlin is on the Left and funded by the Left. One more blow to the myth that conservatives are the violent crazy bomber types.

4. Re: #2. Let's be specific. He's funded by the Tides Foundation that is funded by George Soros. He's also funded by Barbara Streisand but I don't know if it's directly or through an organization like Tides. In all fairness, I don't think Babs is a is smart enough to think like Soros. She's just a (extremely) stupid lefty that hates the right. She just pretty much parrots all of the old cliches about conservatives. As for Soros, he thinks that America is institutionally an oppressive nation and a habitual violator of human rights here and all over the world and has enouigh money to change things to the way he sees them. He has brought down regimes before and he's like to do that here. So funding this Brett guy is right up his alley.

But Democrats aren't Commies.

8. Oddly, he reminds me a great deal of the leftist creeps hanging out around here.

I guess I miswsed their opposition to this clown and what he's doing.

"Evil triumphs when good men do nothing," or some such.

9. Astute observation, Hinton. In that and many other ways (such as being downright evil) leftists remind me of Muslims. Neither will ever condem the wicked and/or criminal acts of their brothers.

Funded by Barbra Streisand?

You people are in desperate need of long term psychological help.

15. Liberals staying classy

How despicably sad from the 'tolerant' amongst us, those defenders of all free speech ...as long as it's speech they approve.

One of those tolerant loving lefties whined about many of us using pseudonyms when we post here. NOW you know why: to protect us from vicious, hateful thugs known as LIBERALS.

You kindly sweet cheeks keep it up. You are deliciously representative of your ideology, its leaders (President Downgrade) and followers (Union, New Black Panthers and occupy thugs).

How long do you think - nay, FEEL America is going to ignore and tolerate your obvious hatred for anyone that is not you?

I predict, not long... BECAUSE of the bloggers you you so bravely ANONYMOUSLY terrorize.

17. There is a national cemetary in Kent.
Tahoma National Cemetery
18600 Southeast 240th Street

I dare you people to go there and walk among the tombstones and tell those guys that what they died for was so that you could claim that Barbra Streisand was supporting some bomber.

Don't tell me it is your right of free speech.

Tell me about your responsibilities. That is the other side of the balance. You treat rights as if they exist in a vacuum. They don't.

If you really think that you are engaged in responsible speech, go to Kent, find a tombstone and tell the person that is there interred that you are using the rights he or she fought to defend to make what you think is a justifiable claim that Barbar Streisand is supporting a bomber. Tell them that of all the things you could say, tell them that this is the one thing that is the most important. Tell them that you think Barbra Streisand cuts checks to this person, if that is what you really believe.

Go to Kent. Tell them about it.

18. dan robinson:

Only one person said that. You mentioned it now twice as much as it was mentioned before.

So you're obviously being dishonest by attacking all of us for that. But that aside: soldiers who fought and died didn't do so that we might say the "most important" things -- if they did, then you should apologize to them, since clearly you could be saying more important things -- but do that we might say what we wished to. That's called freedom.

Yes, defamatory accusations are not free speech. But it's bizarre that you focus on that one remark by one person and dishonestly attack all of us for it. Why did you do that?

19. False narrative 'dan robinson', and deceitful attempt at distraction.

He started a non-profit dubbed "Justice Through Music (JTM)" that has, since at least 2005, been funded by George Soros' Tides Foundation and Barbara Streisand among other leftists

So are you arguing that Babs has been used as an ignorant dupe or shall we maintain she supports vicious violent leftists?

Yes, I've been to the Tahoma National Cemetery - and I yes had the audacity to take my young sons ... on patriotic days, on days when the replica of the Vietnam Memorial was there and on ordinary days when the forgotten truly are.

Yes they died for Babs right to fund terrorists...

For my right to lump her with them...

And for your right to whine about it.

How inconvenient for you lefties that the 1st Amendment and those fallen soldiers are for ALL Americans.

Grow the hell up.

22. Dan@17: I was there (Tahoma National Cemetery) yesterday with my kids and my brother to pay respects to my father who is interred there. My father would be laughing in your face for making such a moronic statement.

Are you saying that Babs' foundation didn't support his non-profit organization (Justice Through Music)?

23. As this story continues to get worse and continues to spotlight hateful behavior on and from the left on far too many fronts, my question is how do they now pull back?

Or will they? Will their hatefulness, their fear of losing power continue to escalate to and beyond someone dying?

Do they even care?

Come on loud lefties, defend or decry your fellow 'activists'.

24. RE #11: Dan, if you really cared about the truth about Babs, you'd look it up. It's not exactly a secret that she gives money to Kimberlin's "Music for Justice". All you have to do is look it up. But you can't do that right? Name calling and incredulousness is far easier.

If you are that lazy, don't ever question your support of Democrats (like I did). You won't like what you see. That is if you can look with objectivity . . . which you probably can't.

25. Say, you know how libs get upset and scream that you can't mix church and state when they see something they THINK looks like it (even if no one else does), check this out:

"Eric Holder and IRS Administrators Due to Advise Hundreds of African-American Pastors on How to Best Participate in 2012 Election"

""We want to let [the pastors] know that there is a theological responsibility to participate in the political process," (Rep. Emanuel) Cleaver summarized."

I'm sure the leftists will be SO upset about this.
Not.

28. Hey look---former Obama ally and democrat representative Artur Davis of Alabama is going....conservative.

"[Parties] change. As I told a reporter last week, this is not Bill Clinton's Democratic Party (and he knows that even if he can't say it). If you have read this blog...you see the imperfect musings of a voter who describes growth as a deeper problem than exaggerated inequality; who wants to radically reform the way we educate our children; who despises identity politics and the practice of speaking for groups and not one national interest; who knows that our current course on entitlements will eventually break our solvency and cause us to break promises to our most vulnerable--that is,if we don't start the hard work of fixing it."

I love it! Welcome to sanity, sir.
