Follow-Up On Firing Bill Ptacek
You can read Lance
Miller's open letter here.
And if you are on Facebook (I'm not), you can join his group, "Fire Bill Ptacek Director of King
County Library System".
(If you write your own letter, be sure to send it, or a copy, to the
board of trustees.)

1. So Lance Miller sent a letter riddled with grammatical errors, threatening to vote against levies that never appear on his ballot because he lives outside their jurisdiction, to someone who has virtually no control over the situation. Embarrassing.
2. Good grief - your headline got me all worked up thinking he HAD been fired. Alas, it's not the case - yet.
Bruce @ 1:
Not half as embarrassing as supporting a man like Ptacek after he makes such an asinine, irrational decision to remove CCTV's based on his ridiculous perception that he was inconvenienced by law enforecment requests to view the library footage to solve a crime committed against an elderly resident of the county. Shame on you, Bruce. You (and Ptacek) are allowing your hyper-ideological political views to override basic, common sense in this matter.
Well, if Mr. Miller is going to write a letter, you would think he'd do the five minutes of research to find out how KCLS is run and the fact he isn't part of the system.
Ptacek is an idiot; please don't compound the stupidity.
