Seattle City Council President Richard Conlin shares the following quotation in his e-mail newsletter today, under the heading "Deep Thought"

"Politicians like to panic, they need activity. It's their substitute for achievement."

Astute observation.

And it would explain the Seattle City Council's 2010 Priorities.

And so do the sheep they lead, and MSM "journalists," and Climate Scientists.

If only they all instead focused on contributing something to society, it would be a nice world indeed.
