2. Oh, they are supposed to come out at 8:15 PM.

3. Results at 8:15 pm? Aw... in Dean Logans time, we knew the results days, even weeks, before the election.

4. Huey, while that may be true, those results were never announced until after the polls had closed - just to maintain the facade.

In an all mail system, when do the "polls" really close?

5. Any idea how many ballots have been "remade" so far?

6. Remember Comrades, it isn't he who votes that counts, but rather he who counts the votes.

7. Hey, how's the victory party going. Just puttin' on my tux and should be there in about an hour.

Can't wait to see all the happy faces.

8. Celebrate what?

9. With the vote tonight - you clowns in King Co. who voted for Dow will get the crap government you deserve. #7 - Stick it where the sun don't shine.

Regardless, it was a pretty good night. The left got smacked on the east coast in losing 2 governorships.

10. @9: Stick it where the sun don't shine.

Stay classy!

And sure, two governors went down... but so did Hoffman. So much for SarahPAC!

11. 'Well, that was over quick wasn't it...'

Those words have got to be ringing in Susan's ears this morning.

Sorry Susan you were just too much of a change...and too sensible for the folks in King county.

12. yes, apparently replacing an unpopular governor w/ one that will undoubtedly be indicted for corruption, is a major victory for the Rs.

so is rush gonna lick glen beck's salty teabaggin tears? conservative party fail!

13.
The childish comments like #12 are neither helpful nor reasonable. I'm sick to death of you brats shouting down any reasonable discussion.

BTW. I don't htink this is over yet. It seems like almost no ballots have been counted from the east side.

14. please show me where i've 'shouted down reasonable discussion'

come to think of it, it was tea baggin morons that spent the last 5 months shouting down everyone else. sooo - maybe you shouldn't be so much of a hypocrite. i'm literally sick to death of conservative hypocrisy and denial of reality.

15. Did I dream it or did Susan Hutchison not concede this afternoon? I find it odd there is no mention of that on SoundPolitics.

I will also say that this will have been a good experience for Susan Hutchison, if she has ambitions for U.S. Senate or Governor (I think Rob McKenna wants that last one, though.) As I have said before, Hutchison is more electable in a statewide vote than a King County vote. There is yet no credible opponent to Patty Murray in 2010. Why not Susan Hutchison? She will have to abandon the non-partisan nonsense from the King County Executive race, but statewide voters -- resentful of King County voters consistently subverting their will -- will forgive her for that.

It will take a Republican woman to knock off Murray or Cantwell, if it is ever to happen -- of that I am sure.
