1. This is quite creative!

You have a great blog in general, it's nice to see intelligent commentary.

I wanted to let you guys know about the American Majority Training event coming to Seattle in case you are interested. http://www.americanmajority.org/news-and-views/news/394-activist-training-in-seattle-wa-august-5-a-6

Best,

3. Bad singing. Lyrics aren't clever. Not funny.

Verdict: lame.

4. Interesting article! 'Kinda on topic' [smile]

5. What will be hilarious is when all the lib's here start chiming in!

6. Oh man, so much I could say. Not sure that a public critique would be beneficial though. Nice idea.

7. Bad singing. Lyrics aren't clever, but they make a good point.

8. Not my cup o tea but the lyrics are too uncomfortably close to the truth for the libs. Their discomfort makes me smile...;'}

9. The lyrics resonated with truth - enough to make the progressives pissed off.

Needs more polish, more creativity and better singing - the takeoff on Michael Jackson- - yes, but a black conservative singer would have enhanced it with rhythm and more hip lyrics.

Conservatives don't seem to have much of the creative gene. Maybe bigger and better tea parties at a convenient time for working people would help bring more young creative talent out. Time will tell.

10. KDS: Conservatives don't seem to have much of the creative gene

Yeah well ... you ... um ... you're funny-looking!

12. Boy that's a new one. You don't agree with someone so you attack their creativity. I haven't seen anything even remotely as impressive coming out of the left wing. And Peter just does this for fun. Imagine if he was actually a billion dollar pop star with access to more than just an Apple and GarageBand!

13. Awesome, and peter can sing MJ Well!

14. #12 - Your reading comprehension is weak -re-read. I liked what was said in the lyrics - as in truth. The media too often looks at style rather that substance. Conservatives look more at substance, but too often gloss over style. Maybe I came across like Simon Cowell, but it was well-intentioned.

Yeah well ... you ... um ... you're funny-looking!

Maybe creative. but what does that have to do with the topic ? Not claiming to be able to do better. The substance was good, but more polish on that effort with a garage band, etc. would be good at a Tea Party.

It's time to pull out all of the stops - the culture war is in full force/the insurrection from the left. From my witnessing at a Tea Party on the Fourth (Mercer Island), they could stand a shot of enthusiasm and somehow attract more younger people - but that's a topic for another post.

15. KDS: but what does that have to do with the topic ?

Shrug. I do my part. And I do a pretty good job. And I don't do it to entice anyone in particular.

I could not care less about doing anything to attract young people. One thing most young people -- especially potentially conservative-leaning ones -- recognize and reject right away is a lack of authenticity. Better than saying we should "attract young people," we should strive to be authentic, which WILL attract young people, and most other people.
