Heartache: No Porn Tax

Rep. Ross Hunter won't give it a hearing.

Good. And Hunter's reasons against moving forward are valid, in addition to those already discussed.

1. We should at least have some way of taxing Bill Clinton! But, I guess Rep. Hunter feels we have damaged Bill enough.

2. What a democrat against massive tax hikes, let me roll over and die.

Gregoire says she is against any new taxes or fees at this time. I agree, with all the layoffs, and rising unemployment 7.1 in the state and increasing daily, it is no time to be raising taxes.

We'll have a watch here!

And he said

"Because Washington is part of the Streamline Sales Tax Agreement" Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

I sell and buy or get for free on Craigslist or at sites online that don't charge sales tax. If they do I don't buy from them again.

Sorry Ross keep trying!

3. I am surprised they didn't go ahead with this. Controversy never stopped Oly before from raising taxes. My guess is they decided that it would be too hard too collect the tax for the revenue that it would produce.

5. @4 Install and use Firefox, and then download the Flash and Ad block plug-ins. Works alot better than IE IMO.

6. Marge,

Even on Internet Explorer, I don't see any pesky ads on the left side. Sounds like you may have spyware, I'm afraid. I'd personally recommend Spybot Search & Destroy and (like Palouse mentioned) Firefox. Good luck.

7. How about adopting Oregon's video poker laws, that might bring in some revenue and divide the state Republican Party at the same time.
