Re: Ron Sims rains on own parade by violating state campaign laws

Today's Seattle Times: "Sims yanks disputed Twitter posting"

King County Executive Ron Sims pulled a Twitter "tweet" from his Web site Monday after state Public Disclosure Commission staff said it improperly supported a candidate in today's election of a county elections director.
...
"We don't think that it's an appropriate link because it's supporting a candidate," said PDC spokeswoman Lori Anderson.

Former state Rep. Toby Nixon complained Monday about the link, which was posted Sunday night.

Sims' office pulled the tweet after being informed of the complaint Monday. Sims spokeswoman Carolyn Duncan said it was "a very innocent post" intended to alert readers to the election deadline.

"There wasn't any intent to endorse any candidate," she said.

Yeah, it was just one of those funny coinkydinks that the Twitter post happened to link to an editorial promoting Sims preferred candidate.

1. I wonder if the aggregate of 'inconsistancies' of Mr Simms' past are enough to be questioned at his hearing for the HUD post? With ADR Mr Simms...that really does not exemplify sound and 'good home training'.

2. BREAKING: Tom Dashiell is 'bye-bye'. :)

3. Don't expect "Dancing Queen" Dave Ross to bring this up on his local radio show. He's not into discussing reality-based news like this that embarrasses Dems like Sims. His subject matter is usually just the cut and paste liberal ideology disguised as "drive-by wisdom to them asses"...err, or rather, "the masses".

In other news: Tax cheater Tom Daschle bows out of nomination.

4. What in the heck is the extraordinarily efficient Obama team doing? Just about every single nomination has had problems, indicating that the screening process was pretty feeble. Or maybe they weren't really efficient after all, and the media was actually the Obama Team? Me thinks so. And the media continues to be the Obama Team by not taking on, even a little bit, all the questionable nominations. Hope and Change? Not. Just more of the same, with twinkles.

5. LOL.. loving it.
Daschle is OUT. Maybe Sims can step into that job.

6. I think there's only one way to be sure of impeccible passing of the vetting process...the Obama team must select Gov Gregoire! :)

7. This is sweet, another one BITES the dust.
Nancy Killefer, who failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help, has withdrawn her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government, the White House said Tuesday.
___________ What is it with DEM's and NOT paying taxes?

8. Hope and Change? Not. Just more of the same, with twinkles.

Obama is doing better than the previous Administration in appointing highly qualified people to run their respective agencies. Even better, no one in Obama's Administration is asking for 3 million dollars of taxpayer money to put curtains on a statue or using their position to promote their latest album of patriotic songs.

Killefer was the second major Obama administration nominee to withdraw and the third to have tax problems complicate their nomination after President Barack Obama announced their selection.

16. Medic/Vet asked, "What is it with DEM's and NOT paying taxes?

I'm not sure about this Medic/Vet, but I wonder if the Dumb DEMs have the same malady as the Righteous REPs. The symptoms are similar --

One's not honest about taxes, and the other's not honest about homosexual proclivities.

Same ole - same ole in our morally starved country.

I hope Obama does well in spite of the SOP political attacks.

And the beat goes on...

I'm not sure about this Medic/Vet, but I wonder if the Dumb DEMs have the same malady as their counterparts, the Righteous REPs. The symptoms are similar --

A lack of honest. One is not honest about the taxes owed, and the other's not honest about homosexual proclivities.

Same ole - same ole in our morally starved country.

I hope Obama does well in spite of the SOP political attacks.

And the beat goes on...
