Steve Dana Announces Run for Snohomish County Council, District 5

Longtime business owner, Snohomish City Councilman and Mayor, and County Planning Commissioner Steve Dana has announced he will run as a Republican for the Snohomish County Council seat held by Democrat Dave Somers.

Three of the five district seats are up for election this year: District 5, District 1 (held by Republican John Koster) and District 4 (held by Democrat Dave Gossett).

1. So... is David Barnett going to buy Dana like he bought Steve Stuart and tried to buy Pam Brokaw down here in Clark County?

He's already pledged to spend $2,5 million to get Somers out.

Is Dana going to be joining Barnett's stable?

2. My understanding is Dana is against the FCC too. And his resume is far superior to Somers'

Would Sax be picked apart like he was last time?

Right now, Somers has the building department in a state of moratorium and nothing is getting done.
