Things that make you go "Geez"

Today's Seattle Times report on the King County Elections Director race cites my findings about the bungled 2006 recount, the errors in which Sherril Huff tried to cover up:

On Wednesday, Sharkansky posted internal e-mails that said 49 ballots were "not found" before the Canvassing Board certified a manual recount of a 2006 Northeast District Court judge's primary. The winner of the second spot on the general-election ballot was determined by 27 votes.
...
Huff said she didn't remember 49 missing ballots or if she sat on the Canvassing Board that day. She said she wouldn't expect the board to certify results under the circumstances described in the e-mails without calling for another recount.
The board obviously did certify. And how can Huff not remember if she sat on the Canvassing Board? Hint: her boss was on vacation and she signed off on the certification press release.

1. I think I'm concluding she is not fit to be Erections Director of King or any other county.

6. Yet another 'thing that might make you go "Geez"

"Sen. Barack Obama is a "friend" of the left who will make important changes to the U.S., including a hoped-for trillion-dollar stimulus package focused on low-income families as well as a reconfiguring of the role and function of the American government and corporations to favor working people, according to the leader of the Communist Party USA." -from an article by: Aaron Klein

7. Oh and PS SP: I got that last article from my favorite "Left-Leaning Independent" source:

I left out the source on purpose, just in case anyone from other blogs saw me posting here.

OH and PPS SP: I got that scoop from my other favorite Left-Leaning Independent source:

But no worries, you can all probably hear it on Dori later this afternoon ;)

8. Good catch, Duff and I see that you also noted it over at Blatherwatch. The response there from the doe-eyed progressive moonbats (i.e. Joanie, coiler and mercifurious) amounted to crickets chirping after they read it.

9. Why should Huff's bout with memory loss surprise anyone. I'm certain she learned all the tricks from Dean Logan (who taught whom?) when both were with the Kitsap County Auditors Office in the 90's.

In truth, prior to Stefan Sharkansky, it was quite simple for Dimocrat election thieves to defraud Washington's dumbed-down citizenry when all the perpetrators had to worry about was an equally complicit "mainstream media".
