One good result from Obama's election

At least in Seattle, we should no longer see Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers on resident's Volvos.

1. And, come the end of January, you won't see "Impeach Bush" signs in the windows of upscale houses, either. That, my friends, is change we can believe in!

3. tensor - yet the hardcore left demands Obama prosecute every single Bush admin official as priority #1...

4. I drive a Volvo, live in Seattle, and I didn't vote for Obama. I would never spoil my Swedish girl's complexion with any bumper sticker - it might interfere with the moss growing. Or...

How about this as a good reason to eschew bumper stickers:

"Vandal slashes tires of Obama supporters

Obama-Biden supporters at Western Washington University, take note - if you haven't done so already.

A vandal on Thursday used a knife or sharp object to slash the tires of cars that had Obama or Obama-Biden stickers on them and scratched "W" on some doors, campus Police Chief Randy Stegmeier said Sunday.

In total, 16 vehicles were hit and campus police estimate the vandal caused thousands of dollars in damage. Police believe the spree occurred between 4 and 8 p.m., when it was dark and raining."

What a classy act!

Shouldn't conservatives be above this sort of childish behavior?

5. Dantzler,

We don't know that conservatives performed this criminal and classless act. Hopefully the police and courts catch and deal with the perpetrator(s).

I continue to believe that there was much more risk (of damage) to your vehicle having a McCain bumper sticker than an Obama one.

6. What is going to drive me nuts is the hypocrits with Obama stickers and Peace stickers on their car. You think they will remove one after a year when we are still in iraq and afghanistan and maybe another country (congo, iran, georgia?)

7. Here's a giggle. The Obama transition website has been scrubbed of his detailed agenda. Instead, it contains one very vague paragraph, all generic stuff. Looks like he is indeed lurching to the center, which would be a good thing. However, he's doing it so vaguely, as usual, that the left may never catch on and will still adore him forever. Oh, well...

8. Saw a neighbor replace his Kerry Edwards yard sign with an Obama yard sign. Got some change but still waiting for hope!

9. The leftist morons like ten cents were doomed to repeat a very recent history... that of 2006.

Clowns like ten cents, factless, Pacto, Comrade ivan were foaming at the mouth to get a democrat congress... now proven to be the least popular of all time.

They drank the kool aid then and those leftists lied to these street-level leftist thugs in 06; just like that lying, empty suited, anti-American racist bigot that made their legs "all tingly" this time around has lied to them now.

They don't care, of course, because there is NO WAY they will apply the same standards to their own people that they apply to everyone else.

Thus to be a moronic leftist is to be a hypocrite. And ten cents and his ilk fit the bill very well.

Upscale houses? I thought Democrats were just like the poor working folk they claim to represent.

11. I'm going to keep my McCain/Palin bumpersticker on (surrounded by NRA stickers) - in the same vein as the Kerry/Edwards Volvo stickers.

But I think I'll replace my Rossi sticker with my "Democrats-the Only Place they Want to Drill is Your Wallet" sticker.

12. True believers got out and canvassed, donated their time and sometimes their money. And by the looks of them, there were a helluva lot more Obama believers than McCain believers.

13. #4: Yes, most ARE above this sort of childishness. I had my car keyed for a W window sticker. Twice.

More signs of trouble with Obama & his supporters "king" mindset: We were told today by co-chair of the Obama transition team Valerie Jarrett that Obama "will begin to RULE day one".

What? Not "serve" or "govern"? What is UP with these people???? I refuse to bow down to the Obamessiah. He will not rule me or anyone else who remembers what this country is actually about.

14. ..and can you imagine if a conservative said that??

15. I'm keeping the Rossi and McCain/Palin stickers on the back of my Volvo 245... Even if Obammunists in their Lexuses (Lexii?) and Acuras try to run me off the road, due to their being confused as to why an older Volvo wagon would have Republican bumper stickers on it. At least, I didn't put them on the paint, unlike most libs...

I've almost considered putting a "Democrats are Defeatist Cowards" bumper sticker on there as well, but would rather remain alive and have a somewhat undamaged car.

16. Gent, the silent majority is named for a reason. The Rs have to develop a way to harness the energy, such as getting them out in the GOTV efforts.

17. I thought this was fun. Sample:

Black teen pregnancies? A 'crisis' in black America.
White teen pregnancies? A 'blessed event.'

If you grow up in Hawaii you're 'exotic.'
Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, you're the quintessential 'American story.'

Similarly, if you name your kid Barack you're 'unpatriotic.'
Name your kids Trig and Track, you're 'colorful.'

If you're a Democrat and you make a VP pick without fully vetting the individual you're 'reckless.'
A Republican who doesn't fully vet is a 'maverick.'

19. I call my Volvo "Seattle liberal camoflauge" I thought I was the only conservative Volvo driver in the area.

And while I won't put any political stickers on the S70 and spoil the stealth effect, I do have a 12" sticker of Calvin (of Calvin and Hobbes) peeing on the the word Democrats on the back window of my truck.

20. I wish to end all the nonsense between the Conservatives and the retards. Let us cut the
country in half and we will have Conservatives on
one side doing things their way and tards on the other with their fabulous ideas. They will have free healthcare, daycare, housing, transportation
OH WAIT, no transportation, that would require some sort of energy which is not allowed in tardland. They will have no construction or development of any kind, no hydro power, NO
COAL BURNING, no nuclear power, no oil or gas exploration, no logging, no mining of any kind, no fertilizers, no pesticides, no weapons like guns, knives. No competitive sports (those are not fair to a clod). Oh yeah, all pharmacy needs
are free along with abortion up until the tenth year, after that its murder. NO Christmas. Everyone works in the union. This is the want list of the tards, aint it pretty?
