2. Was this actually on TV??? For 8th District and Seattle viewers to actually watch???

Holy Moses! Way to go, Ken!

3. I hope he actually sends Darcy Burner one of those Schrammie dolls. I never got mine, which he announced for me a little over a year ago now. Although Pudge says he got his Schrammie, a few months after it was announced on the air. I think he can mail Darcy's to her office in D.C. by the time he gets around to it :)

4. Why? Is Darcy going to take a job as a lobbyist? Or is she simply going to hang around Democratic electeds in D.C. in a blue dress and see what comes up?

5. Can you imagine Ditzy Darcy's (Patty Murray lite) response to getting a Schrammie?

Darcy:

"Like whatever, Old guy. What's next? Are you planning to take away my birthday? Like, that's just not very cool at all, old dude."

6. Why would Burnout need to rent an office in D.C.? Doesn't she have a closet or something she can work out of around here?

One of your larger problems among the many are you have a problem with self-delusion. It can be helped. Do look into it, won't you?

There's a good chap.

7. For those of you who may have missed it, allow me to review what Darcy did, to get Schram in this state over someone he thinks is actually worthy of being in Congress. He is, after all, a Democrat, however one that I find can be reasonable and open minded.

Darcy agreed to be a guest on "The Commentators" on Monday from 12:06 until 12:30, to talk to the hosts, and take call in questions from the people who she claims to want to represent. Congressman Reichert WAS on doing same from 12:30 until 1:00.

As the tease in leading into the next segment Ken Schram said about Darcy, "she got some splainin to do". 30 seconds after his comment and 6 minutes before she had agreed to be on the air, she cancelled under the guise of "being called into an important meeting".

Ken went nuts, as he should. The people who serve US, or in Darcy's case, WANT to serve US, have an obligation to be questioned by US. She wasn't too busy running for Congress to attend the week long YearlyKos convention in Austin TX. But apparently she was too busy to take questions from the people she hopes to represent for a half hour on Monday.

Me thinks the special "E" concentration at Harvard was in Elitist Ego, not Economics.

9. Ken Shram is obviously more of the old school journalist type. Strangely, the concept of reporting is lacking with respect to today's Obamalyte journalists. Shram is a Democrat and and old school journalist, so his primary directive was to do some reporting. Darcy was expecting the Chris Matthews' Obama treatment on-air, since she is a certified member of the Nutroots. Shram was dissed. And hell hath even greater fury for an old school reporter dissed.

Way to go Ken. You restored some small semblance of faith in journalism.

10. ames@7,

Schram playing those chicken noises cracked me up. He said that Darcy Burner left him a message on his voice mail at the station to try to explain things... "bawk-bawk-bah-kawk!" Hehe.

I think Schram was tougher on her than John Carlson was about not showing up.

11. bugged out of a Schram interview? and she would picture her future as grilling some general or oil exec as part of some congressional committee investigation? ok...

12. I've always liked Schram, even though I usually disagree with him. It's nice to see him landing on our side on this one.

Anybody hear what him and Carlson said about it on the radio? I'm not in Seattle right now.

13. I never liked Schram then and I still don't. Who does this egotistical, over opinionated, predjudiced excuse for a human being think he is for expected anyone has an obligation to talk to him? What a ....!!

14. Swatter, you are kidding, right? Didn't matter if it was Schram or not. Burner is running for office. If she wants votes she can't expect to always be interviewed by sycophants. If this is how she handles pressure, she will be in tears after her first day in Congress if she wins.

I also find it quite amazing that someone that , by her own admission, has TWO degrees from Harvard has only managed to rise to the the level of lower management suck-up at Microsoft. Maybe we should ask to see her transcripts if she feels she is so much smarter than her opponent.

15. I bet Darcy thinks that Schrammies 'suck' now too ;)

16. Once the Ken Schrams have died out, the new generation of Stephen Glass-bots will take over and there will be no more "old school" reporting. Savor it while it lasts.

17. Ditzy Burner took the time out of her busy schedule to actually appear this morning on the commentators. She was still doing the texas two step with her claims of a "degree in Economics" and at one time even accused Carlson of "parsing words", which was rich with irony. She came off as the petulent child that never grew up and always thought she was smarter than everyone else.

I guess those "David Goldstein etiquette classes" aren't exactly paying dividends these days in terms of her public personae.

18. Rick D - that's why Ditzy is a Democrat. They're all petulant children.
