McKenna "Endorsements" Ad

This ad from Rob McKenna's campaign says it all: he has done a good job and almost every newspaper says he should be re-elected. Don't get much clearer than that.

1. McKenna is a great guy and I'll vote for him enthusiastically. But the fact that the newspapers like him doesn't add to his lustre for me.

2. Am also going to vote for McKenna, who has done a good job. Forgive me for being a little OT, but just this morning I saw the Rossi ad with folks passing around a baby in a smelly diaper, listing the things that stink, and saying it's time for a "change". Nearly laughed myself sick. I think this is the best ad so far for Rossi.

3. I have already voted for McKenna.

Side note--His yardsign is the only one I have that the Democrats haven't stolen.

4. I have not voted yet. Polls don't open until Thursday.

What, you people vote by MAIL?! Crazy.

5. Voting by mail just feels weird. I looked at my ballot yesterday for about ten minutes before postponing the vote for another couple of days.

I just feel that voting should feel a bit more personal than paying my monthly energy bill. Although I suppose, for many, their monthly bills are a hell of a lot more important than voting.

6. McKenna will win in a huge landslide. That's one of the few bright spots we are almost assured this election.

Should the terribly unfortunate happen, and Rossi is to lose, McKenna will make a strong candidate for Governor in '12. I don't think he'll be as good of a Governor as Dino, but I think he'd be a decent governor, certainly a big improvement on the current one.

But forget that. I think Dino will win.

McKenna for Senate at some point maybe?

7. Somebody explain to me why I could give a crap about what the editorial board of a newspaper thinks? They care barely run their own businesses nowadays.
