A Sign Gregoire is Unserious about the Looming Budget Deficit

Her plans for healthcare continue unabashed:

And despite a looming budget crunch, she has not backed down from her goal of providing health care access to for everyone in the state by 2012. Her plan relies on a mix of state-sponsored insurance, cost reduction initiatives and public-private partnerships.

This as Hawaii has woken up to the fact that healthcare "coverage" that amounts to the government subsidizing the middle class with scarce tax dollars isn't exactly fiscally responsible, let alone sustainable.

And Gregoire wonders why people think she's going to raise taxes:

1. Great Video.
Nailed It.
Now just put Jim Carrey beside her in a Green Grinch suit and we'd have twins.

2. Talk about a scary Halloween story...

Rumor has it that Gregoire will be seriously considered to be the AG under a NObama administration after Rossi wins the Governor Race.

3. Bye Bye Gregoire. These people are insane. I base this on the fact that they continue to try to put into power socialist elements that have failed. They don't care because they think they are trying to help the "disadvantaged" folks. This is code for placing as many people on the government dole so that a person has no choice but to vote for that entity which provides what they are responsible to provide for their families. Didn't their mommy ever tell them that NOTHING IS FREE!!! McCain will win and Gregoire goes bye bye!!

4. Gregoire & O-blah-blah understand this all to clearly...The Democracy Countdown

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

'A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.'

'A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.'

'>From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.'

'The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years'

'During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;

2. from spiritual faith to great courage;

3. from courage to liberty;

4. from liberty to abundance;

5. from abundance to complacency;

6. from complacency to apathy;

7. from apathy to dependence;

8. from dependence back into bondage'

We are entering STEP #7--going from Apathy to Dependence. By the time we hit Step #8, a lot of Liberals will be wondering how in the heck we got there!! And it's because the Liberal's allowed their Party to Be highjacked by the Marxist's and Socialists! DUH!!
