My new song, Eat American, is now available. The idea hit me a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty self-explanatory.
Lyrics:
Verse 1:
Some people like all kinds of cheese
Some people like Italian
Some even like Chinese
Well I'm not here to tell you what kind of food to prefer
But if you are American
It's your duty, spread the word:Chorus:
Eat American
Fried chicken, cream of corn
Eat American
From the day that you are born
So our farmers can compete
You are what you eat
Eat AmericanVerse 2:
Chicago deep dish pizza
Sweet corn bread and beans
Baked or smashed potatoes
And all potatoes in between
Potato chips, potato puffs
Pass the freedom fries
With lots of ketchup to symbolize
The blood of the men who diedBridge:
To all the pregnant women
Eat until you're filled
To make your kids Americans
I say, grill, grill baby grillVerse 3:
Some people mix their foods
Each dish is a buffet
Sweet and sour, bitter, hot
It's not the American way
Well I don't want any spicy food
Mr. Waiter, please
'Cause I've got to cherish the memories
Of the men who gave that food to meSome pepole like all kinds of cheese
Some people like Italian
Some even like Chinese

I plan on going out tonight for a Chicago-Style Pizza @ Buffalo Bump Pizza...
In addition, I plan to DRINK American too.
A pitcher of Moose Drool!
I plan on sayin' the Pledge of Allegiance before my first bite....
And sing the National Anthem before my first drink.
And of course, sing Good Bless America during my 7th Beer stretch!

And a side of them good fartin' beans.
With a pitcher of Moose Drool.
Maybe that's dinner AMERICAN STYLE tomorrow night!
Thanks for the tip on the pork. I've been looking for a source of "old" pork (you know, not "the other white meat" kind which resembles the packing peanuts UPS uses) and you just gave it too me.

Exactly.
and so was the stuff you know as "Chinese food" actually.
I have two responses. Choose which one you like better.
1. I wouldn't know! I Eat American!
2. Depends on which Chinese food you're eating!
Great song. :)
Thanks!
Incredible.
