More on Reichert v. Burner

For what it's worth, SurveyUSA's latest says Burner is ahead by four. That comes before word of Burner playing whack-a-fact with the details of her college degree.

Either way, SurveyUSA's previous 10-point margin in Reichert's favor was too high. Even with yesterday's events this remains a very close race, thanks to the demographics of the district.

Speaking of which, more confirmation that Burner's campaign is worried about the tax issue that helped beat her last time:

Note the semi-obnoxious direct repetition of her supposed tax cut (I'm sure as a rookie member of Congress she'll be able to get exactly what she claims!). That wouldn't be in response to this or the Reichert campaign's constant messaging on the topic by chance?

1. I've finally witnessed an ad with a subliminal message.
In the higher taxes ad against Burner, the broken bank leaves a rather sexy shape. I haven't decided if that's a ploy to the males or if it's to imply she's a boob.

3. Darcy's $4000 tax savings figure is a baldface lie. To reach that number, a taxpayer would need to itemize deductions on their Fed. Income Tax return (to get the sales tax deduction) and would have to file 1040EZ without itemizing to get the increased standard deduction. It is ILLEGAL to file both ways. Darcy is lying. When confronted with this illegal paradox, her campaign's reply is "oh - well, we'll change that tax law too." Incredibly naive but then, that's Darcy.

When I was in school, I saw lots of left-leaning students turn conservative when taking econ courses. Never saw any reverse migration.

6. This woman is such a dribble faced boob.

The $4000.00 tax cut ad came out of nowhere and went nowhere. It's so obvious that it's some sort of bidding war for votes that nobody responded. So then comes this thing. If mentioning it twice doesn't do anything than saying it twice has GOT to work! "Yohoo, did anybody hear me?" Next I expect that she'll up the ante to 6 or 8. And if that doesn't work make it an even 10K!

It never ceases to amaze me how little Demorats think of voters. From this boob and her tax pandering to Murtha calling his constituents racists right on to Obama and his "bitter clingers" crack. And that's the sort list. The bigger amazement is that people vote for these screwballs.
