Mail Voting

In Washington, most of the state is "all-mail" voting. For many reasons, I dislike mail voting, most particularly because it is far more prone to intentional and unintentional error. I've written a lot about this in the past and won't do it again right now.

Even if you live in a county that has "all-mail" voting, you can vote in person, either on a voting machine, or with your paper ballot. You can drop off your ballot at the county auditor's office (or perhaps other locations, like certain libraries in Snohomish County). Check with your county auditor for more information.

1. I know we're all hoping for the best, but I'm seriously thinking about buying land in Wyoming -- it's only 900 an acre -- and going off grid.

I don't want to be taxed for Light Rail stupidity.

2. I'm a student in Idaho right now and I vote by mail because my residency is in Washington where I still hail myself from. So I still stay involved in my local districts, county, and state for myself and my family. So it's pretty convenient.

3. I know this is off the subject but this to hot not to spread around.

I Just heard that Darcy Burner will admit tomorrow that her big campaign point, that she has a degree in economics, is . . . a complete fabrication!

For Facts and the other Darcy fans here, I believe that can be spelled L-I-E.

Say goodnight Darcy. Ha, ha, ha!! She's such a boob.

4. I have returned my ballot by mail since its inception in Pierce Co. and have no problem with it. My problem is with the 25,000 ballots that go to a canvasing board consisting of three people all in the same political party. With the new ranked choice voting I am sure that number will be much higher this election. The best part of mail in voting is the robo calls stop as soon as they get your ballot. Vote early and vote often.

5. The guys at Red County have posted on the Darcy Burner story. Turns out, she is more of a fraud than we once believed....and that's saying something!

7. Now I'm wondering if Darcy's house wasn't accidentally set ablaze by her pants on fire?

What an embarrassment. Boze on KTTH 770 is having a field day with this one.

8. John,

Land is around $700 per acre in Northern Thailand. And for $1000 a month you can live like a king - daily maid and cook service, custom tailored clothes, do essentially nothing...

If you're going to drop out, at least go somewhere that's pleasant and wonderful year round!
