Darcy Burner: Big Spender

What to make of a candidate who is without question dramatically outraising her opponent with vigor, yet who is still required to loan her campaign $140,000 to respond to a supposedly pending ad buy from the Reichert campaign? Did Burner's campaign not expect Reichert's camp to husband resources for reaching out to voters in October?

Has the Burner campaign ever heard of planning a budget for a campaign? Is there any excuse for this turn of events given the fundraising advantage Burner has compiled over Reichert?

Most importantly, is this the sort of incontinent spending one could expect from a Congresswoman Burner?

And yes, this is the only sentence in this post that ends with a period.

UPDATE: that PolitickerWA link on the loan story from yesterday is down. Here's the Times story on the matter.

1. One thing that confuses me is how the very same people that support the unqualified Burner are the loudest about saying that Palin is unqualified to be VP.

Note: I don't like Reichert, so any support my comment gives him is entirely unintended.

2. Banana. I don't know what you mean by unqualified. I went to a training Darcy put on, and she was excellent. My God. Reichert couldn't possibly have gave such a good presentation.

I just love how the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pouring money into ads for Sheriff Useless. You know. One of the top lobbyists for not regulation the banking industry. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Getting help from the folks that HELPED CAUSE our Real Estate, and economic meltdown.

Sickening.

3. Well, All Facts Support Your Position, so debating with you is a non-starter.

4. "I don't know what you mean by unqualified"

Well, reading comprehension has never been a leftist strong suit, but I'll give it a try.

"Unqualified" in this instance meaning she has no experience, temperment, plan or clue that would equate to her ever being elected to Congress.

She is the local version of the empty suited idiot you're supporting for president.

There. I hope that helped, factless... and I will gladly entertain questions until the end of the class period.

5. When your opponent is getting the advantage of upfront credits, you do what you have to do:

Via Josh Feit:

"KOMO's ad books show that Reichert has gotten $180,000 worth in extended credit for ad time from KOMO for this week."

No comment on that Mr. Earling?

6. Darcy Burner, still behind in the polls against incumbent Reichert announces a 1.5 billion tax cut for working families.

7. RE 2: I wonder what kind of training he got from darcy...

Potty?

How to say nothing with a lot of words... and a nails on chalkboard, smarmy, snotty voice?

Resume inflation?

Starting but never finishing... anything?

#2's learning curve.. 'Darcy talked down to me in her instructions about pulling down my pants, sitting properly on the toilet, aim and pulling my pants back up (potty training) and bragging about my production (resume inflation AND saying nothing!) and walking away ... I forgot the wipe and flush part... and I'm still constipated (starting but never finishing!)'

8. @2:
Wow. You went to a training she put on? That is so relevant to ....
.....
oh wait, nothing at all.

People I actually know from my time at MS respected her passion as a women's advocate in the MS workplace but had absolutely no use for her as any sort of manager.

So her only experience in any leadership role is a short career at MS where she was mediocre. She lied on her resume last time to make herself sound more important. AND she has done nothing in the interim 2yrs to bolster that resume.

She can't argue with Reichert over ideas because she has none to speak of to compare to his experience. She is left with the only avenue available which is to lamely try to compare Reichert to Bush. She talks about a $4000.00 tax break but forgets to mention that her party will let the Bush tax breaks expire.....hmmm

9. @2
Yet another. Who did Obama have on board as financial advisers again? Actual advisers? Raines and Johnson?

Think. Just think a second.
