Gregoire Push Polling?

Tom Forbes makes the case. Based on his report, I hesitate to say it's Gregoire campaign...but it is obviously someone playing in the left-of-center political world.

And yes, push polling is often misunderstood. Polls can include questions that test messages among a representative sample of the population for future use by a political entity. That's not push polling. That smarmy tactic utilizes a high volume of calls to disseminate information, not collect it.

If such calls are occurring in high volume to disseminate a message, rather than just a sampling, then it is by definition of a push poll. And, it being October 20th and all things start to look fishy, since it's getting awfully late for test messaging anything in an era when voters have had ballots in their hands for several days already.

1. I have high hopes for Dino this time around.

When Chris Gregoire personally went on television with a known distortion of Dino's record on the minimum wage, for me that was just about the low point in this campaign.

I have never seen someone so obliviously unethical in any previous campaign. Hopefully the low content voters will pick up on that as wal.

I also have never been more grateful to see Dino's ads both calling her a liar (deservedly so), and pointing towards his vision for a better Washington.

All in all, very impressed with the way Dino is running his campaign.

2. I've been getting many calls recently by the Democrats, both canned and live.

Makes me wonder where they got my unlisted number, why they think I'm a Democrat, and what universe they're using to compile their lists.

I'm waiting for the one that asks me "Would you vote for Dino Rossi if you knew he sacrificed gerbils under a full moon?"

Only then will my joy be complete over the way they're falling apart in extreme panic.

3. I got a RoboSmear call from Gregoire's daughter. Was this because I have school age kids and would supposedly relate? Then, the question is how did they know? WEA got school records with phone numbers?

4. Camille, an "unlisted" number is actually on a list somehwere telling those that look that its unlisted. If I call directory assistance and ask for you, they will say 'I'm sorry I can't give you that number, it's unlisted'.

What you want is a NON-PUBLISHED number. If you call directory assistance and ask for me, they will say 'I'm sorry I don't find anyone with that name'.

5. We need change in Washington State. Gregoire is finished it will be Gov. Rossi. Get the 75 year old out of this state. Hook her and Ron Sims up with Obama they can out spend each other in D.C.
