Selective views of the politically deranged

Why does the top of the frontpage of today's Seattle Times [pdf] headline a story of McCain pushing back against nutjobs at a campaign rally?

Honestly, because the MSM is much more comfortable assuming that the Republican faithful are ignorant racists than they are noticing and condemning the rabid intolerance to be found in some corners of the left.

To be blunt, those that claim Barack Obama is an "Arab" or a "Muslim" or a "terrorist" are absolute idiots. A stain on the right just as notable elements of the netroots end up deeply soiling the left (see Palin, Trig).

Yet does remarking on the latter's disgusting antics merit front-age discussion? Nope. Doesn't fit the stereotype of "enlightened progressives."

Both sides have their morons and both sides should be quick to condemn and/or correct them. McCain deserves admiration for having done so decisively yesterday.

For now, however, society should be much more concerned about the bubbling attempts by Obama supporters to quash free speech (chronicled here and here for starters). Speech codes should be of more concern than blowhards venting dumb views at campaign rallies.

Anyone with even a vague awareness of how such tactics of silencing "hate speech" and the like occurs on college campuses can recognize this is a deeply troubling trend. And Barack Obama has had nary a word to say about it.

CHICAGO (AP) - Jailed political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko, the Chicago real estate developer who helped launch Barack Obama on his political career, is whispering secrets to federal prosecutors about corruption in Illinois and the political fallout could be explosive.
Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich, whose administration faces multiple federal investigations over how it handed out jobs and money with advice from Rezko, is considered the most vulnerable.
Rezko also was friendly with Obama - offering him a job when he finished law school, funding his earliest political campaigns and purchasing a lot next to his house. But based on the known facts, charges so far and testimony at Rezko's trial, there's no indication there'll be an October surprise that could hurt the Democratic presidential nominee - even though Rezko says prosecutors are pressing him for dirt about Obama.
"I think this strikes fear into the Blagojevich administration and the Statehouse Democrats but not into the Obama campaign," says state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Westmont, a John McCain delegate to the GOP convention but an old friend of Obama.
Rezko, 53, a real estate developer, was convicted in June of scheming to use his clout with the Blagojevich administration to squeeze $7 million in kickbacks out of a contractor and seven money management firms seeking to do business with the state.
Within two months, Rezko was seen in U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald's office, along with his attorneys.
There has been no official confirmation that Rezko is talking but his sentencing has been postponed indefinitely and both sides say they are going to "engage in discussions that could affect their sentencing postures."
"They never would have delayed the sentencing if he weren't talking - it's proof positive," said Jay Stewart, executive director of the Better Government Association of Chicago.
In addition, attorneys say federal investigators have been questioning Blagojevich contributions around the state using information that only Rezko could have supplied. Finally, courthouse personnel requesting anonymity because grand jury probes are secret said Rezko has been repeatedly brought from his cell to the U.S. attorney's office to talk to prosecutors.
Rezko could have a lot to tell. He has raised millions of dollars in campaign money for many Illinois politicians and according to federal prosecutors used his clout to control appointments to state boards.
Obama has sent to charity $159,000 that Rezko raised for his campaigns for the state legislature, the House and the Senate. Rezko raised nothing for Obama's White House run.
Obama's name came up in testimony at the trial four times, twice in connection with an obscure legislative memo, as a guest at a Rezko party and when defense attorney Joseph Duffy told jurors his client was a friend of the senator.
None of the witnesses accused the Democratic nominee for president of doing anything improper.
But questions concerning Obama's relationship with Rezko linger, particularly over Rezko's role in the purchase of the Obamas' home.
The two have known each other for years, starting when Rezko offered Obama a job after he graduated from Harvard Law School in 1991. Obama didn't take it, but a friendship developed.
The men talked politics frequently and occasionally dined together with their wives.
In 2005, the Obamas paid $1.65 million for their home near the University of Chicago. The sellers wanted a parcel they owned next door to sell on the same day, and Rezko's wife, Rita, was the buyer. At the request of the Obamas, Mrs. Rezko later sold them a 10-foot strip of land to enlarge their lot. They paid $104,500.
The deal took place while Rezko was under investigation and when details of the cozy relationship surfaced, Obama said it was a "bonehead" error to have asked for the additional land because it looked like he was getting a favor.
"I regret it," Obama said at the time. "I'm going to make sure that from this point on I don't even come close to the line."
McCain and vice running mate Sarah Palin have mentioned Rezko little if at all. But Republicans have aired a television ad focusing on Rezko. And McCain aides have repeatedly tweaked their opponent over the real estate deal in e-mails to reporters.
"We're delighted to have a debate on judgment with Barack Obama, who bought his million-dollar mansion in a shady deal with a convicted felon," McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said in August.
Blagojevich, meanwhile, got a black eye from the trial.
One witness testified that Blagojevich talked about hiring him for a major state job while his $25,000 donation to the governor's campaign fund was lying on the table.
Two attorneys testified that Blagojevich hinted that they could get lucrative state contracts if they raised money - possibly for a future White House campaign.
Obama's name has not surfaced in accounts of the investigation since the trial. But Rezko himself raised it in a letter to the judge months ago.
"Your Honor, the prosecutors have been overzealous in pursuing a crime that never happened," he wrote. "They are pressuring me to tell them the wrong things that I supposedly know about Gov. Blagojevich and Sen. Barack Obama."

2. To be Blunt.....Barack Obama most certainly has leanings, appreciation and a softer View toward the Muslim aka Terrorist Threat. Not to have a healthy vigilance and awareness of the Enemies of America, is a lacking one should take serious note of.

3. Why should we expect anything different from the media? How long did it take for CNN to even touch on the Ayers story? With ACORN being investigated in at least eleven states, why is that only now getting some coverage?

Even if only 10% of the stuff out there (Ayers, ACORN, Rezko, Wright, Pfleger and much more) is true, isn't that reason enough to worry most reasonable people? Sure, McCain had his Keating association, but that was FULLY INVESTIGATED and MCCAIN WAS CLEARED. None of Obama's shady dealings have been as thoroughly explored.

While the Washington Times had a story on it, why wasn't there greater coverage of Barack Obama's possible violation of the Logan Act, which says that nobody but the President can negotiate with foreign leaders? A summary of that whole thing can be found here: http://audacitywatch.com/?p=438

The deck is stacked more than it has been in a long time. What can we do about it at the eleventh hour? While there are definitely people who cross the line, there are quite a few more who are mad as hell and not going to take it any more!

4. Yes it's dumb to focus on idiots, but here we have the ACORN story exploding all over the country, and Obama's deeply close connection to corrupt ACORN is an automatic obvious front-page story. But it's not there. If McCain had the exact same connections to the corrupt group--and had even given them $800,000 t boot--the msm would rightly be all over it.

Or worse....

Every time McCain hands the mike to a rally attendee, you can tell just how genetically challenged his followers are.

Is there anyone with an IQ over 50 that thinks McKeating5 would make a better president than Barack? I truly doubt it.

Does anyone have a good explanation of why McCain wasn't prosecuted for corruption in the Keating 5 scandal? He took the money, and he did the favors. Consistantly, and repeatedly. Looks like an open and shut case to me.

That's how it is working out.

At least Warren is giving it all to charity....

13. RE 3 & 4

Commie-kid is convinced that ACORN voter registration fraud has absolutely nothing to do with election fraud.

In light of his certainty, I have given him a challenge.

I am so relieved that commie-kid is just absolutely sure that the ACORN "irregularities" will NOT result in election fraud.
I am confident that with his absolute certainty he will stand shoulder to shoulder with you and me in calling upon the Secretary's of State in Missouri, Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada North Carolina, Washington, Connecticut, Wisconsin and Florida NOT open any absentee ballots and NOT to certify their election results until the FBI has thoroughly investigated the "irregularities" and cleansed their voting rolls if any were found.
After all, when a commie-kid is certain, surely he'll put his election results where his big mouth is. Right?

SHOCKINGLY, commie-kid has ignored my challenge!

Please, do your best to encourage him to join us... or shame the hell out of him for his cowardice and duplicity!

While yer at it, defend Bush. Are you one of the 10% of Americans that think we are headed in the right direction?

Obama's children have better judgement than McKeating5. What's your problem?

BTW. How many women did McCain screw while he was still married to his first wife without her knowledge?

Never mind the wicked witch of the North....

While you are at it. Go to AirAmerica.com and listen to them talking about the 20,000 people who's life savings Keating stole with McInsane's help. Without McCain, the number would never be 20,000 because regulators were already looking into Lincoln.

18. Eric is right when he says ...

To be blunt, those that claim Barack Obama is an "Arab" or a "Muslim" or a "terrorist" are absolute idiots.

In addition, I will also add:

Any conservative obsessed with ACORN is also an idiot.

The Republicans better become a multicultural - multiracial party if that party wants to survive in the 21st century. In other words:

Those who vilify the Muslims and those xenophobes who are scared of an "unamerican" sounding name are doing great harm to the Republican party.

If the Republican party continues along this path it won't exist for very much longer. The party is going to tear itself to shreds because the moderate Republicans and the sane Republicans aren't going to remain associated with a political party which is becoming increasingly extremist and behaving very much like the Christian Taliban.

21. Bill-the-Idiot is blaming his troubles on minorities and the poor:

How many working people have lost more than half their 401(k) retirement savings because of the idiotic scheme pushed by Democrats to sell homes to those who couldn't afford them?

Look, Bill, it takes more than minorities and the poor to create a housing bubble.

The housing bubble was a mania which afflicted Americans of all types. The wealthy bought too many houses, the Middle Class bought McMansions and wildly speculated on real estate, and the poor bought houses with artifically inflated values.

In addition, the American people engaged in an orgy of hyperconsumerism, all of it paid for on debt based upon the theory that they could sell their houses for a hefty profit in the future and use the money to pay off all of their toys.

In addition, the US government engaged in an illegal war in Iraq, grew tremendously, and amassed several trillion dollars more debt.

Finally, Peak Oil bumped against humankind's insatiable appetite for oil and this propelled oil to reach $147 a barrel and gasoline to reach $4 a gallon.

This is the reason why the stock market has collapsed and your 401k's will soon become worthless.

You are responsible for your own suffering. Don't blame anyone else.

and ..

Stop whining, conservatives. Poverty will serve you well.

23. To respond to Eric's question, it has to do with the profoundly left-wing, socialistic/ communist leanings of the Seattle electorate. Given their subscriber base it makes sense for the Seattle Media to play up the "threat" posed by conservatives and minimize the truly whacked world view proffered by the folks who think the Lenin statue in Fremont is just good clean fun. Even Hayden Lake, Idaho doesn't have a statue of Hitler. Seattle holds the dubious honor of being the only city in North America that proudly boasts of a giant statue of a mass murderer who launched a totalitarian ideology that killed more people than any other 20th century despot. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan likens Obama to the
"Messiah" and none of the commie trolls, on this web site or elsewhere, are troubled by it. All hail the Messiah. Farrakhan, Ayers, Wright, Rezko, Obama. What a team.

24.
The people in these McCain rallies are asking the basic question:

Who Is Barack Obama?

After two years of media exposure, most of us still don't know. Every week there is some story about a hateful past...this is then covered up by his handlers. Then anyone who mentions it is called a "racist".

No one can question Barack.
No one can criticize Barck.

But who is Barack? His biography is sketchy. He claims to be poor, but his upbringing is upper middle class. He seems to be bitter -- but why? When he enjoyed the finest fruits of society at Harvard?

At best, I get a cold icy feeling from Barack Obama...I coldness that doesn't let me understand who or what he is. To me, he's a puppet, a puppet who is being used by the Democrats to get back into power at any and all costs.

McCain-Palin are exposing Barack Obama and his contradictions and it hurts. It hurts so much for people who are under an illusion to see the truth about him.

25. I hope that you understand the underlying psychology of calling anyone an idiot: it is a form of invalidation of self since all name calling is by definition self directed. Surely, you have a better opinion of yourself than that!

Now about the Barrack Obama Muslim label. Barack Obama’s father is defined in this way From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Obama, Sr. had already turned away from Islam and became an atheist by the time he moved to the United States. In other words when Obama Jr. was born, he was born into a Muslim family tradition. I agree that he certainly is not an Arab.

26. I love it. Anyone with half a brain is called a communist, or a socialist? Someone that supports the constitution is a communist right?

Let me break it to you right wing nutcases gently.

Left = Center

If the right wingers have so much to offer, then why do they have to lie about EVERYTHING.

Conservative = dishonest. They are exposed as the lunatics they have always been. From Terry Schaivo, to Pat Roberts, and Rev. Dobson. From Bush's 6 trillion onto the national debt to zero oversight, or accountability in Iraq. Ignoring drowning people in New Orleans to denying global warming, and fighting renewable energy.

The right is a sickening stain on our country's history. The sooner we lock them all up for corruption, or remove them from the body politic, the better off our country, and the world will be.

Of course, when you point it out to them, they get really angry. And to think 25% of the people calling themselves Republiconvicts in 2004 have left the party. Can you blame them?

BTW. I am not a communist, or a socialist. I am an American. Constitution, (including the parts not in the 2nd amendment) and everything!

31. Free speech, I'm all for it. But if you, as the candidate, can hear hate speech against your opponent during your speech and you do nothing to check it and better yet, incite it, don't be surprised when people start asking questions about your character. McCain knows this and that's why he's just now trying to stop people. (No word yet from Palin; I'll hold my breath.)

It started long ago when a woman asked McCain, "How do we beat the bitch?" (back in the primaries) and he basically laughed. It was very disrespectful. He could have set the tone then and said, "Madam I'm a competitive guy, I feel I have a lot more to offer in experience and ideas against the Democrats but I'm not running my campaign on uncalled for name-calling. I'd rather you not refer to Senator Clinton to me that way."

THAT would have set a tone.

Obama has been the most vetted candidate. What else do you want to know? His mother was a single parent for awhile so yeah, they were poor. What is the problem with him doing what we tell all American kids? Rise above your circumstances, study hard and you can accomplish great things. He did that and bam! elitist.

There are things I'd love to know about Bush, McCain and Palin but frankly, no adult of any real age has led a perfect, mistake-free life (especially politicians ). They have all had to accept and be part of political realities. It would behoove all of us to be pragmatic on this point.

Obama is not a Communist, a Socialist, an Arab or anything else you want to sling at him.

But I understand. It's a painful thing as your candidate and his pathetic campaign go down the drain.

Of course, we have Carville and others promising riots if Obama loses, and we have Obama threatening TV stations if they run ads critical of him.

Seems free speech is only allowed in one direction, if you're a Slavery Party member that is!

Oh, and for the record Obama was a registered Socialist at least in 1996. So yes, Obama was a Socialist and based upon his welfare schemes for the masses (how can you give tax cuts to 95% of the people if only 57% actually pay taxes? Simple - you give them actual welfare checks even if they pay no taxes) he is still a Socialist.

At least be honest about your candidate...

McCain was CLEARED of all impropriety and the charges were DROPPED. There is nothing about the Keating 5, other than Slavery Party Senator Cranston being officially reprimanded and Slavery Party Senators Riegle and DeConcini being officially charged with improper actions.

So that's ONE Republican CLEARED of any wrongdoing, and three of your Slavery Party paying the price.

And how about Obama being on the payroll - and paying into - ACORN, the multiply convicted vote fraud machine?

Nothing to say about Obama supporting the MURDER of living, breathing babies?

How about over 100 highly esteemed economists - including multiple Nobel prize winners and 5 of the faculty of Harvard - decrying Obama's economic plan as disasterous, guaranteed to wreck our economy?

How about 3 out of 4 business owners stating that Obama's infantile understanding of economy will destroy our country within 3 years?

And lastly, how about the PROOF that Obama was a card-carrying and position-running member of the Socialist Party?

I bet you hate Obama because he worked his way up, instead of being helped every step of the way by his daddy, just like W, our current pathetic liar in chief. Mr 18%!

The days of the dying GOP are numbered. All we have left is to watch their prosecutions. I can't think of a single crime the lying chimp's gang hasn't committed with the help of scared lemmings like yourself.

Conservatives too stupid to understand that their ideology of fear, hate, and greed is destroying our country. It's ok. We have enough straight jackets to go around.

"Highly esteemed economists"? You mean the mouthpieces of the think tanks funded by the folks robbing our country blind? You mean those folks right?

You make me sick.

Go drink your kool aid. I am sure the 150 lobbyists running McCain's campaign will tell him what to say tomorrow to impress the genetically deficient. You know. The folks that think teeth are bling bling. The average Republiconvict voter!

42. "BTW. How many women did McCain screw while he was still married to his first wife without her knowledge?"

Whoa! At what point in recent history did liberals develop a sense of morality? Because I thought sex was a private matter, not to be brought up when talking about a politician.

43. "Look, Bill, it takes more than minorities and the poor to create a housing bubble."

Who said anything about minorities? The point is, Carter started this and Clinton augmented the policy of requirng Fannie and Freddie to back sub prime and no-doc loans. With the idealist goal of enabling more people to buy a house who would otherwise not qualify under standard lending rules. While the intent was noble, because of the 14th Amendment, ANYONE...poor, middle-class, rich, or filthy rich could apply for one of these loans and not be turned down. So, many people were buying houses and flipping them, or keeping them as income generating rental properties. The reason this utlimately lays at the feet of the Democrats is that they thought up the scheme in the first place, and when people started sounding warning signals about the impending failure of Freddie and Fannie, people like Barney Frank, Mazine Waters, Chris Dodd and John Conyers refused to listen to any of it. Bascially calling it a racist which hunt, due to the fact the head of Fannie was Black. And Chris Dodd would not let proposed oversight regulation of Freddie and Fannie out of Committee. So, the Dems refused to hear any of this until it was too late.

Now, what makes us believe Barry is the best one to turn things around when he attended the party in the first place?

44. Factless,

Your ignorance comes shining through! McCain was cleared completely - the charged DROPPED. And if you had half a brain (I doubt you do), you'd know that with a DEMOCRAT controlled Senate his ability to get himself dealt with easier than the three DEMOCRATS found GUILTY of wrongful actions, you're definitely a low-grade moron.

And it goes further. Palin provided a video to the Alaska Freedom Party. Obama RAN as a card-carrying Socialist! Yes, only in your twisted mind are the two equivalent.

Face it - Obama was (and probably still is? Has he renounced his membership) a Socialist. Pure and simple - the man is a Socialist.

Obama never worked his way up. His grandmother was a bank president, his stepfather was rich, and he went to the best of the private schools.

He snorted coke throughout his time at Columbia, and only through back-room dealings with Pakistani financiers did he get in to Harvard. He was a failure as a student, and as a "Law Review" editor (what was published? What were his grades?)

Obama then made friends with an admitted terrorist who blew up American Government buildings and killed people. That same man greased Obama's palm to the tune of millions, and bought him his positions in Illinois.

Then with CONVICT Tony Rezko dropping big wads of cash to keep That One going, he used illegal influence to force out his political opponent, meaning he won by default.

Yes, that's right. Obama NEVER won a political seat - he won by forcing his opponents out on technicality because he knew he was dirty and a failure.

Obama's gotten to where he is by being an elitist, coke-addled Socialist, hanging out with terrorists, and taking bribes left and right. And giving bribes left and right (you don't think the fact his wife got a $200,000 annual pay increase had nothing to do with her employer getting a million dollar grant a few months later, really?).

Obama represents the sickest of the sick, and the worst of the worst of the scum of Chicago politics. He's a racist, he's a drug addict, he's a liar, he's a thief, he's a cheat, and he's a Socialist.

Hail, hail your baby killing leader!

45. Look at the title of Eric Earlings post and then look at the Posts of "All Facts support my position". A living breathing example par excellance of exactly what Eric was talking about. Nary a work of how Chris Dodd and Barney Frank and Maxine Waters defended and protected from reform a system that allowed for no equity loans and delayed balloon payments that just screamed that as soon as the home values started to decline, the buyer would default on the loan and the house would have to be foreclosed. No word of how Fanny and Freddy had Democratic Party partisans in charge of them and donated large sums of money to Democrats who protected them from reform. (Of course, in addition there are the statements that are merely not true rather than selective; like no one with IQ's over 50 supported McCain.)

46. I'd like to know what the libs would say if McCain went to church with the old Hayden Lake crowd, or started his political career in Timothy McVey's living room.
And factless, I bet your parents had to excuse themselves early from any social gatherings they took you to.

47. And of course the Democrats controlled the White House, and both houses of congress for the last 8 years, and without help of the Bush Gang stopped all regulation, and oversight of the banking industry.

I am right, right?

From the PI yesterday: "The Bush administration and members of Congress -- including a key Republican subcommittee chairman who was later sent to prison for political corruption -- sided with lending-industry lobbyists and free marketers who hotly and successfully opposed blanket liability for Wall Street firms selling mortgage-backed securities, according to congressional testimony, other records and interviews.

Those loans are what taxpayers will be buying under the $700 billion bailout plan approved by Congress and signed by President Bush last week. "

Better not read today's PI. When the state wanted to investigate banks who appeared to be breaking Washington State's laws, the Bush Administration threatened our state officials, and shut down the investigations.

And you want to blame democrats?

Turn off your right wing hate radio, and get a clue. The crooks, Bush's buddies, are lining their pockets and scamming a few more trillion before he leaves office.

And you want to blame dems. Part of your disease.

48. NO FACTS SAID:

"While you are at it. Go to AirAmerica.com and listen to them talking about the 20,000 people who's life savings Keating stole with McInsane's help. Without McCain, the number would never be 20,000 because regulators were already looking into Lincoln."

Why don't we look at the FOUR DEMOCRATS who stole the savings of over 20,000 people. Alan Cranston (D-CA), Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), John Glenn (D-OH), and Donald W. Riegle (D-MI).

After a lengthy investigation, the Senate Ethics Committee determined in 1991 that Alan Cranston, Dennis DeConcini, and Donald Riegle had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings, with Cranston receiving a formal reprimand.

McCain was CLEARED by a DEMOCRAT investigation.

As usual, no lie is to big to tell over an over again with the Democrooks like No-Facts.

Democrats use tax dollars to buy their high priced whores. Look at Elliot Spitzer.

50. pjb. I say arrest them all. Dems and McCain if they did wrong. I want all the corrupt politicians prosecuted regardless of party. Country before party. You know. Actually you probably don't know.

It seems funny how sorry McCain used to be, and now says he did nothing wrong. Like all those earlier statements never happened.

51. Hello Ignorant, Uneducated, Non-Elitist, Racist, Xenophobic Conservatives,

You people really shouldn't speak if you want the Republican party to maintain any sort of political viability after the next election.

I have spent some time watching John McCain and Sarah Palin rallies and I have noticed something:

These rallies are all-white and all-Christian and all-angry.

An all-white, all-Christian, all-angry rally might as well be a KKK rally. This is a very effective technique for the Republican party to guarantee itself minority status forever.

Republicans shouldn't have to work so very hard appealing to the KKK vote. Republicans have the KKK vote in the bag for every election, this is the reason why the party can afford to appeal to moderates.

But not this year. If the Republicans became any whiter and angier, they will have to start wearing hoods and burning crosses at their rallies.

This sort of crap doesn't sell any longer, Republicans. Racism may have worked in the 1950's and 1980's but it is the 21st century and the nation is becoming increasingly multiracial, multicultural and religiously diverse.

53. "Facts" @#47, "And of course the Democrats controlled the White House, and both houses of congress for the last 8 years, and without help of the Bush Gang stopped all regulation, and oversight of the banking industry."

Perhaps you ought to have some basic understanding of how Congress works before you make truly silly statements like this.

54. Hello Michael,

If you think multiculturalism is so great, you are an idiot.

Do we need any more evidence that conservatives are uneducated, incurious idiots?

Look, Michael, if the world has one too many cultures, I would recommend getting rid of your culture.

Which, incidentally, is exactly what is happening right now. Your world has already ended and you don't even know it, but you will discover it soon enough by direct personal experience to your own great horror and dismay.

Capitalism is dead. Thank God!

Posted by: David Mathews on October 12, 2008 09:37 AM
55. The reports of the death of capitalism are greatly exaggerated.

Posted by: Bill Cruchon on October 12, 2008 09:44 AM
56. Hello Bill,

The reports of the death of capitalism are greatly exaggerated.

Eh ... you must have completely missed all of the economic news over the last six months. The US government and other Western governments have nationalized their banking, insurance and automotive industries. Although these "rescues" have become increasingly desperate and more expensive, they continue to fail.

Call the present economy whatever you will, it is not capitalism. Corporate Socialism is a more appropriate name for the present economy and it is quickly transforming into full-blown socialism.

Abuse power.

59. Hello John,

Comrade Commissar Mathews, would have made a great NKVD agent.

It is quite ironic that conservatives haven't even realized yet that capitalism is dead, I think this excellent evidence that conservatives are as oblivious as those dinosaurs driven extinct by the asteroid impact.

Don't blame me for capitalism's death ... it happened under the leadership of George W. Bush.

60. From the tone of the Bush/Republican Deranged progressive trolls, I would bet that at least some of those who went over the top with the racial epithets at a few McCain/Palin rallies over the weekend and late last week were actually Obama leftists, who knew that the media would blame it on the far right because of the rhetoric, when the radical left made it up to help their cause in any way they could.

I could envision mentally deranged narcissistic idiots like No Facts or David Matthews pulling this kind of scheme. (If either of you respond to this, i know that both of you are lacking in reading comprehension because your brain cells are too far gone because of your meth habit). The truth hurts extremists, who now have an extremist candidate in a moderate liberal disguise to support for POTUS.
