Voter Registration News

Shot:

Washington state has the largest number of registered voters in history, even after the scrubbing of the voter rolls after 2004.

Chaser:

Surprise of all surprises, the good folks at ACORN are in trouble again for voter registration fraud.

Lining up the next drink:

I'm sure given the less than laudable local record of ACORN that no left-of-center activists have been engaging in any shenanigans in accumulating that record number of registrations in the Evergreen State.

1. More ACORN/Obama Chicago crime family hijinx. Then again, what can we historically expect from the rising pondscum of the Chicago political machine?
Answer: The DNC nomination

..We know him as the Chi-town assclown running for president on the theme of "change". A ridiculous claim that even then mayor Daly of Chicago of 1960, that had dead persons voting in that years presidential election, would have rolled over in hysterics with laughter.

The problem is carrying through with the agenda set forth by the Chicago outfit...the guy in 1960 didn't and we all know how that ended.

2. Stay tune, Acorn will be alive and well in this state, digging up boxes of Chicago style Gregoire votes, neatly hidden away for the third Gregoire / Rossi recount this year.

Brought to you by Kan't Klownty Elections.

3. The FIX is in. Nobody knows for sure how many thousands of false ballots will be issued because of ACORN.

ACORN is picking up homeless people and promising them free food if they register and vote. Of course, they get a ballot to take home, so their driver can fill out the ballot for them. After all, they are homeless and have forgotten how to read and use a pen, so the nice folks at ACORN are just helping out.

That started yesterday in Ohio. They are doing it now and nobody is stopping them.

The FIX is in!

4. Glass of Cold Water: The only group of voters who were shown to go for Rossi in overwhelming numbers, even in liberal precincts, have been scrubbed from the rolls! Without the illegal votes of felons, how will Mr. Rossi get to within reach of Gov. Gregoire?

5. Did I miss something or was that about 1,300+ new voters over the 2004 mark? There will undoubtedly be more, but nothing earth shattering. Anyway, there were others at work at voter registration around the state! For example the Family Policy Institute of Washington reached out to over 1,200 Christian organizations these last 12 months and sent out over 100,000 voter registrations to those specific groups and others. They are still registering voters and are pushing to register another 100,000 (you read that right!).
http://familypolicyinstituteofwashington.org/index.php?section=21/about_us/
There were groups like the Washington State Farm Bureau, the WSRP and local county GOP groups, the Builder's Associations and many many others who registered a lot of voters. Few if any of them were drunks, meth heads, street people or corpses. They could also sign their names! Voter fraud is hard in Washington State; particularly in non all mail voting counties, someone usually has to show up to vote or have a real address to get the absentee/all mail ballot. So voter registration drives this year were a two way street with the primary focus being the gubernatorial contest, almost across the board.
The other part of the equation is the FACT that right of center activists being Republican, independents and in some cases even blue dog Democrats for Rossi, tend to vote in much high percentages than the very young, homeless or in the 2004 election "the dear departed" or fresh out of Walla Walla.
As for the GOTV this year, the Obama bunch has a major problem: getting the phone numbers of many of their supporters. With no statewide or national cell phone directory, it is virtually impossible to do a GOTV in their demographics where land line phones don't exist. ANYWAY WE SHALL SEE THIS NOVEMBER WHO WON, WON'T WE!

6. I'm not sure why everyone gets so upset about ACORN. When you pay workers per registration, you're sure to get people who submit false forms. ACORN has nothing to gain from illegal registrations, it can mean big fines and invasive investigations.

If the GOP had similar get-out-the-vote programs, I'm sure you'd see the same type of fraud. It has everything to do with incentives, and nothing to do with politics.

Paid petitioners have been dealing with this type of thing for years.

7. Hey, kid, ACORN has been the recipient of tens of millions if not 100s of government handouts given to them by their community organizer- Barry Obama. Get the connection? They are not independent?

8. Hey according to this blog Indianapolis has 105% of its eligible voters registered http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/more_voter_registration_shenanigans_indianapolis_has_105_of_its_population/

9. Nick, it's not impossible that you are right. But it's not that simple.

Dumping thousands of bogus voter registrations into the system could be, knowingly or unknowingly, aiding more subtle efforts at real election fraud. The more overwhemed election offices are and the less accurate the voter database is, the easier it could be to steal an election.

10. Its a politicians dream come true, they have finally figured a way to rig elections and they learned it from King county. When the count is through then the real counting starts and more miracle votes will be found to make Washington a truly democratic state like it was meant to be.It good politics, now king county wont have to go to court to get their propositions passed that the voters say no to they can just miscount the votes or manufacuture them and none of us will be the wiser. This will save money and the democratic lawyers wont have to waste time in court.

You have NO proof. Period. You're spouting baseless lies.
