Crunch Time

The Snohomish County GOP has a Central Committee meeting Saturday morning, and then most of those in attendance are going to head on out to ring doorbells for Mike Hope (meet at Archbishop High School in Everett at 10 a.m.). There's lots of work to do for the campaigns out there, including for Dino Rossi and John McCain and congressional and legislative and judicial candidates. The election's a month away, go do something!

1. It is time to roll up the sleeves pudge.
Notoriously Republicans are too lazy or scared too knock on doors. I've done plenty of both and it never ceases to amaze me the excuses...especially from the vocal type Republicans who love to "Preach to the Choir" and dominate meetings.
Usually, when cornered, they will say they made calls...but they didn't.

I guess I'm trying to lay down the gauntlet.

Here's the way I look at it...
If McCain cannot close the gap in Washington to 7-8 points, he will drag Rossi down with him.
McCain has pulled out of Washington!
That means folks MUST get out of their comfort zones and call.

The biggest complainers about Rossi losing last time did next to nothing....calling, doorbelling or writing checks!

Wake up Republican's!
Destiny is in your hands....feet & fingers.
Get Busy for once!

3. Republicans need unions--they know how to nail the GOTV effort.
