Gregoire on Taxes

I'm usually not a fan of web-only videos in campaigns. Heck, if the message is that good why don't you put some money behind it and put it on TV?

The below video from the Rossi campaign, however, rises above the usual muck of such video press releases. It's well done and it has an effective message...plus it gets bonus points for the Donald Duck usage.

Now, if the RGA would just put out a 30 second variant of that rather than their current antics...

1. Not only is this powerfully effective, it earns EXTRA points from me for using a totally obscure audio track of "Money" done by The Flying Lizards!

Way to go Dino!!!!

2. That is a good ad. Perhaps Bart and others can use Pelosi's words against Larsen and the other D delegation, too. In Larsen's case, Pelosi = Larsen.

3. I especially liked the last sound bite of "She takes my money, when I'm in need!" from Jamie Foxx/TI, who 'borrowed' it from Ray Charles.

4. Recently met with a bunch of construction folks (not BIAW...but heavy-construction types) and I can tell you this. It's doesn't look good for Sir Dino with that group. The concensus seemed to be that his construction ideas were fantasy and that no new solid direction was being offered by him. I realize these were all Union folks, but thought I'd see at least some swing towards him.
-For what it's worth! [May be an ad explaining more thoroughly what he'd do in regard to overall infrastructure in this State] :)

6. Duff-

He could do zero and it would equal what Gregoire has done for infrastructure.

8. "Now, if the RGA would just put out a 30 second variant of that rather than their current antics..."

Eric, it's fairly clear that you're the only one who believes yourself to be God's Gift to politics. Given the choice between RGA strategists and your peculiar view... (How'd that "Suburban Crescent" nonsense work out for you? How's that ripoff gas tax increase doing?) I'll have to go with them.

Duff, most union wheels would dive into a pool of hydrochloric acid before they'd vote R.

If selling out the people of this state to the tribes isn't enough; if "guiding" us into a huge deficit isn't enough; if lying about massive tax increases isn't enough; if the "CHANGE" mantra that leftists are mumbling doesn't apply EVERYWHERE... then screw those morons.

Leftists COULDN'T be so hypocritical that they'd only support "change" at the top... could they?

17. Damn that was damning! That's got to be one of the best political ads I have ever seen.

The first part with Chris in her own words was the best part. Ouch!
