I Wanna Grow Up to Be a Politician

A cover of The Byrds' classic, "I Wanna Grow Up to Be a Politician." Sound like anyone you know? (Do you think it's a Rorschach test?)

1. There's something vaguely Bob Dylan in that voice.

3. We should encourage young people to grow up and consider political life. I am glad that at some point in time John McCain did. It appears that his efforts are paying off as he is only 2 points behind Obama in the latest tracking poll on our state. We need more people that want to get involved in politics, and we need to become energy independent, and we will do both with John McCain. McCain and Palin will inspire a generation to bring real change to Politics.

5. Pudge as a fellow musician you continually bring laughter to my life. Keep it up

Oh and don't quit your day job, as I am sure you know, musicians pay sucks.

But then we don't do it for the money do we?

6. I decided long ago I wouldn't bother doing it for the money ... because, um, what money?

11. Awesome...you did the Byrds proud. 12-string would've been nice touch.

12. Tracy, ha, thanks. I did use a 12-string Rick sound (via the Variax) in Just Getting Started, which is an homage to Tom Petty and the Heatbreakers, which copies their sound which was copied from The Byrds.
