Sarah Palin is...

...a Seattle Seahawks fan.

Awesome.

Flashback: the last time the Seahawks and politics met it led to a bizarre, over-heated reaction from the angry left.

2. Great. Still doesn't matter.

Also, I thought her state was so "huge" and "important". So why no major league teams? And how come her son, Track, got offered a spot in a minor league hockey team, something he worked for his whole life, and just like that - poof! - he's in the service going to Iraq. Just as his mom's name gets floated for VP.

Poor Track. Poor Levi. Just the victims of circumstance (or pawns in Lady MacBeth's plan).

3. Westello, you need to see a therapist--you're disturbed. So, you think you can enter the military and be sent to Iraq in a matter of weeks? Are you really that ignorant, or do you just like saying totally stupid things.

Posted by: Bill H on September 13, 2008 05:28 PM
4. But speaking of sports, it's interesting to learn that her son, Track, had been heavily into hockey from an early age. (And it's handy to have mom build a new hockey rink rather than, say, a library.) And then you hurt your shoulder, get surgery and even then get offered a spot on the minor league hockey team. And yet, you turn it down saying you're going in the service. Something you worked on your whole young life and poof! just changed your mind.

Oh and what's that backpedaling on what countries she actually visited when she finally got a passport? Fun times with Caribou Barbie.

Poor Track. Poor Levi. Just little pawns in Lady Palin's life plan.

Pat Tillman was his name. But a scumbag like you wouldn't understand military service... kinda like Five Deferment Biden.

8. One would have imagined that the backlash against the loonies and westvirals lashing out with ugly Bristol innuendo and uglier Trig innuendo might have taught them lesson. Nope. Now it's ugliest innuendo against teenage soldier VOLUNTEER.

I've said it before, these westviral types have learned the socialism screed well: it's hasn't worked because THEIR plan hasn't been tried. Same with the westvirals: absolutely convinced their turd will be the one that sticks.

14. Exactly YLB. Those of us from small towns have seen this before. The question is whether it comes out before or after the election.

The potty mouths here are kind of sad but that's what you get when you don't pay attention in school. ( Speaking of, which fine institution did Lady Sarah graduate from? Oh that's right, it took 5 of them before she could finish. Our guy - Harvard Law School.)

Now I wonder, which westviral called the female Vp candidate "Caribou Barbie" in a recent thread?... let me think...

At a certain point desperation becomes palpable and fear stinks.

Oh by the way, I notice YALE and HARVARD BUSNINESS SCHOOL were unimpressive to you in 2000 and 2004. Care to expound a bit on your hypocrisy?

16. Oh, and your guy, you know, the one you and bHo forget was nominated to run against Governor Palin went to the University of Delaware (ranked 506th of 688 in his class) and Syracuse Univ. School of Law (where by his own description he again underperformed and ranked 76th of 85 students).

Color me unimpressed... but considering his long history of foot in big mouth disease, not surprised.

17. Waste-hole...

You're LYING again! You're "guy" graduated from Columbia. And funny we can't see his transcripts.

And you keep ignoring the polls that say 33% more people consider Palin qualified for the Presidency than consider Obama qualified.

Your "guy" is a slack-jawed teleprompter reading drool-bucket-filler. He's a marxist, fascist, terrorist loving traitor.

And those extremists on your side - the partisan Slavery Hacks - are as anti-American as Obama for supporting him.

A majority of Republicans AND a majority of Independents support McCain. It's only you Slavers and Marxists who care to support him.

The bloom's off his rose, and it's really stinking to high heaven!

21. Think about this:

Barack Hussein Obama must withdraw from the Presidential race and forfeit the election because of his ongoing conspiracies and attempts to overthrow, and counseling, aiding and abetting others to overthrow, the government of United States of America by acts of subversion, infiltration, and insurgency in or about Chicago, Illinois, while acting as a covert Marxist propagandist, agitator and indoctrinator, under the cover of community organizer. His acts are "high crimes and misdemeanors," within their Constitutional meaning, and disqualify him from the office of President. His acts, and those of his co-conspirators, are also actionable under criminal law.

22. Independent Voter @19 About calling virals and libs "the angry left": calling them ismists would be better.
An ismist is one who practices, promotes, soldiers and supports one of the three isms of the 20th century that were declared enemies of freedom and democracy: communism, nazi-ism and journalism.

23. Westello has P.D.S. - Palin Derangement Syndrome. How else to explain how he makes her out to be a back country rube, a dimwitted Barbie doll, and a conspiring Sith Lord all in a few posts on the same thread?

Independant Voter is right. Let's call them what they are... The Angry Left.

Oh, and Westello.. it was four, not five colleges. One semester at Hawai'i Pacific, followed by North Idaho College... a community college where she got her AA. Once she got her AA she went to U of Idaho, except for a semester at Matanuska-Susitna College near her hometown.

Except for two semesters, she went to a community college then a four-year university. Are you seriously going to make fun of her for that? Are you that much of a stuck-up, elitist snob you look down on her because she followed a path of a lot of folks, and your guy got a scholarship to an Ivy League school?

Posted by: Mike H on September 13, 2008 08:27 PM

Just a guess, but I believe the dimwitted comments were made because she did not know what the "Bush Doctrine" was. This is the $872 billion dollar question. To be honest, I didn't know it by name, but then again, I'm not running for VP either.

27. Okay, let's go.

One, I didn't "lie" about Obama graduating from Columbia; I just didn't want to pile on. Two, how come no snappy comeback about Lady Palin's stellar academic career? Three, Reg dear, that's "daddy's", not daddies. (Also, that's a grown adult and last time I looked, most parents don't control their adult children unless, of course, you're Caribou Barbie.) Four, quite the irony that Sarah-licious started in Hawaii, no?

Just finished that Charlie Gibson interview. She thinks Alaska is a microcosm of the rest of the country? Really? And Wasilla is a "diverse" place? Hilarious. She is so clueless. And this business of crying over Charlie Gibson being mean (who was okay with the right 3 days ago but now is the anti-Christ). She NEVER gave one straight answer. He had to press her because she never answered his questions.

Debates await - I sure wish she and Biden had more than one.

But the real debates - the important ones with issues and stuff - she's a bit player. Let's talk about Obama and McCain, no name-calling but real talk about real issues.

Is that a possibility?

28. Re-reading this thread and I don't get it? Is there really a comparison between the candidates on education level? Didn't McCain graduate 5th from bottom of his class? Shouldn't the leader of the free world and the person with their finger on the button be able to "Nu-Cle-ar" instead of "Nu-Cu-Lar"?

It's not rocket science people.

Westello I know in your liberal world where patriotism mean nothing (an yes, I AM questioning your patriotism) I am not surprised it is like an alien landing that someone might sacrifice their sports career in order to serve their country.

Of course Track Palin isn't the first one to do this. I wonder if in Westello's warped mind, Pat Tillman's family forced him to join up?

Posted by: pbj on September 13, 2008 09:02 PM
31. @25,

There is no one thing as the "Bush Doctrine", it has come to mean several things depending upon whom you ask. When asked for clarification, Gibson couldn't provide an answer.

Posted by: Just Sayin on September 13, 2008 09:10 PM
32. Let's compare the question Gibson gave Obama, the man running for PRESIDENT vs the questions for the WOMAN running for VICE PRESIDENT, shall we?

Obama interview:

How does it feel to break a glass ceiling?
How does it feel to "win"?
How does your family feel about your "winning" breaking a glass ceiling?
Who will be your VP?
Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?
Will you accept public finance?
What issues is your campaign about?
Will you visit Iraq?
Will you debate McCain at a town hall?
What did you think of your competitor's [Clinton] speech?

Palin interview:
Do you have enough qualifications for the job you're seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?
Aren't you conceited to be seeking this high level job?
Questions about foreign policy
-territorial integrity of Georgia
-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO
-NATO treaty
-Iranian nuclear threat
-what to do if Israel attacks Iran
-Al Qaeda motivations
-the Bush Doctrine
-attacking terrorists harbored by Pakistan

Sexistcrats at their lowest. Boy tose were hard hitting questions for the Sexistcrat candidate for PRESIDENT, the one with the nuclear launch codes, weren't they?

Posted by: Just Sayin on September 13, 2008 09:14 PM
33. Just asking for more humiliation,

Just a guess, but I believe the dimwitted comments were made because she did not know what the "Bush Doctrine" was.

Guess what - you and your fellow Slavers and the leftist Charles Gibson got the Bush Doctrine wrong, per the man who INVENTED the whole term. In fact, Sarah showed quite a bit of intelligence in that she asked to which facet of the Bush Doctrine that suck-it-up-Chuck was referring. When he stumbled, he showed his own ignorance and also highlighted her understanding of the subject.

It wasn't that he went to Yale, (Kerry went to the same school) it was how well he did while there. C average.

Better than Kerry and better than Al Gore... And we've never seen the transcripts from Columbia or Occidental for Obama. Hmmm. You sure you want to go down this path?

Shouldn't the leader of the free world and the person with their finger on the button be able to "Nu-Cle-ar" instead of "Nu-Cu-Lar"?

Apparently you do want to go down this path. Please see the Merriam Webster Dictionary where you will see both pronunciations are correct. Only a simpleton - or raging partisan hack - would not realize that both ways of saying nuclear are fine.

But you probably can't read the dictionary, for fear of the foam in your muzzle dripping on the pages.

It's not rocket science people.

For most people, no. Apparently for you and your fellow Marxists, it certainly is!

Try learning what a dictionary is, how to use one, and how to eat humble pie.

34. Waste-hole spewed forth:

Also, I thought her state was so "huge" and "important". So why no major league teams?

Just how many major league teams in Delaware? Joe Biden's state seems to have exactly as many as Alaska.

Better yet, how about Arkansas? Or Tennessee back when AlGore was the VP Candidate?

You are such a putz. Your partisanship is so obvious, and you have, I believe, a fatal case of PDS.

36. Bottom line: Sarah is kicking the Democrats' ass, big time. Issues don't matter anymore because we can't get enough of her character and charm, of which the D's have zero. Remember D's, our chant describing you is, "Zero! Zero! Zero!" When Trig gets a little older we'll run him for Congress against McDermutt, and Trig will win because his character isn't sociopathic.

Obama was an affirmative action admission at each college he went to. He was *elected* to the law review. Prior law review members were appointed based on GPA. Looking at Obama's legal experience after law school, it's clear his grades were horrible. This is not surprising since he acts inarticulate, slow, and lazy.

Charles Krauthammer was previously referenced by Just Sayin at #28. Krauthammer says Gibson screwed up mucho on the Bush doctrine because there are four of them and the one Gibson sneered about wasn't one of them! The yellow stream media must be boycotted, and pistol-whipped as needed, until they can become human.

Nuclear has two pronunciations; look it up Just Asking. Grammar must be rocket science for you. So what are your qualifications for evaluating who is fit for the Presidency? Your boy the Magic Negro is headed for the ditch for his crimes against our nation. Maybe we can put you there, too.

41. Wow - this thread got a bit off-topic.

Let me submit for the record my prediction that Sarah Palin shows up to the game, tomorrow. Not that it's highly likely, BUT there are indicators that possibility exists.

1.) 'Hawks Fan credentials confirmed.
2.) Originally scheduled for a joint appearance with John @ a NASCAR event in New Hampshire. Now, there's no details on the McCain website - just an event (John will be there).

3.) Sarah does NOT have any scheduled public events for Sunday.
4.) Reno is only 1.5 hour flight to Seattle.

Just sayin's'all.

45. wastello @ 35, any issue concerning you is limited to what size, shape, color and any other dimension scumbag that you are.

You're not here to "discuss issues," because if you were, then you'd also be interested in addressing the multitude of "issues" surrounding that worthless punk YOU support.

Look, most of us get that your guy is getting his ass kicked sideways by a woman who came out of nowhere. We get that OhDrama picked a VP candidate who not only thinks he made a mistake in not picking Hillary, but that the slimeball you support isn't ready to be president. (gee... I can't imagine how THOSE two issues are going to play in the debates) We get that you clowns are hypocritically supporting a VP candidate who used FIVE deferments to avoid serving in the military; we get that you're panicked and that your sort has absolutely no idea what to do about it... we get your rank hypocrisy and sexism... and we also get who you really are...

Not everyone, you see, had the advantages of affirmative action.

We get that you're nothing but a leftist shill, who is totally interested in discussing "issues" but ONLY in regards to attacking Palin... which your sort has done such a terrible job of doing.

The fact is, no matter how much lipstick you're wearing, you're still a pig. And that dog won't hunt.

Even the bHo campaign.

Why do you suppose that is?

Posted by: Ragnar Danneskjold on September 14, 2008 01:59 PM
57. Actually, Dan asked a question on an issue which I tried to get clarification on so yes, there is a discussion (or attempted) of issues.

It's funny how we can go back and forth on similar complaints. Lost years of Obama? What about Bush's lost years (that's right you guys don't like to talk about him just like McCain, Palin, etc.)? What about Palin's time between jobs? What exactly was she doing that qualifies her?

Draft dodging? You say Biden had deferments. Okay so did a multitude of Republicans including Cheney who said "he had other priorities".

In the end, how does this further the discussion? What it tells us is that NO ONE has had a perfect life. That people do not run their lives as if they will be running for public office someday (although God help the younger generation that is now documenting every move they make on MySpace or Facebook - good luck trying to live down their lives when they run for office).

What matters is not personality or charm. What matters is who you believe (and why) would be the best President to lead our country at this time.

Someone on this blog gave me some wise advice about finding a place to have these discussions. This obviously isn't it (and go ahead, throw more insults at me - all I ever accused anyone here of is bad spelling).

Spew and foam away.

Posted by: westello on September 14, 2008 02:39 PM
58. Just-asking-for-an-education,

Webster also says that it's ok to pronounce Li-Ber-ee or Li-Bray.

You're wrong - either lying, or still haven't learned how to use a dictionary. Please see Merriam Webster. There's always a "br" component, the only difference is the a or "e" sound in the end.

Wastehole,

I would need you to rephrase that question because I think in asking "when do human rights begin" you are trying to ask me when life begins

So this question isn't above your pay grade, like it is for Barack Obama?

This is a legitimate issue. When do human rights begin? Simple question, should have a simple answer... Too nuanced for you?

Here's another issue: why should we pay for a bridge to nowhere but shortchange the survivors of hurricane Katrina?

What issue do you want to address?

Dishpan,

a liar.

Yes, yes you are. The point?

Posted by: Shanghai Dan on September 14, 2008 02:42 PM
59. What about Bush's lost years

What the hell are you talking about? Bush's "years" have been dissected ad infinitem! There's nothing left on those bones!

On the otherhand, bHo and his comrades have purposely erased ALL mention of the Columbia years: no transcripts, no records, no commentary: NOTHING.

Maybe it'as time to pull arrest and legal records from the Columbia years. Maybe it's time to delve deeply into thjos druig swilling Pakistani pals AND his trips over there.

AND this has nothing to do with "qualifications" It has to do with TRUTH and the absence of it: LIES OF OMISSION.

We already know by his own admission bHo did weed and "blow", WHEN DID HE STOP? Has he? Let's get some medical records from those days.

What matters is not personality or charm. What matters is who you believe (and why) would be the best President to lead our country at this time.

Oh, that is rich. Really, did you type that with a straight face?

What does bHo believe? Why can't/won't he define "hope and change"? How do we know he doesn't believe the Anerica hating crap his pastor vomited out every week? Because he says so? His butt in the pew for 20 years says far more than his token leaving when things got too hot. His Ayers buddyhood says even more than that!

You want to talk about leadership? What kind of leader doesn't take a stand? What kind of moral coward votes PRESENT?

You morons choose a candidate based on nothing other than well spoken platitudes read from a cue card, you whored yourselves on the altar of absolutely nothing and then you have the gall to whine about personality and charm? GO LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

60. Oh, and in case you missed it in your bHo induced cipher stupor, Bush isn't on any ballots.

THAT is really the one and only drawback of Governor Palin: she put's a little stumbling block in the way of a Jeb Bush candidacy. But, after President Palin has served her two terms we can, and DO, look forward to a Governor Bobby Jindal and George Prescott Bush ticket.

While McCain and Palin rise, the commie jerks can boast of support from the likes of Lindsey Lohan, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton ad nauseam. Couple that with William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko and some of the chosen one's other past connections (Oh, his Chicago mentor and dear old departed dad in Kenya) and this groaner has some major problems on his hands.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

62. Barack Hussein Obama must withdraw from the Presidential race and forfeit the election because of his ongoing conspiracies and attempts to overthrow the government of the United States. He has counseled, aided and abetted others to do the same, committing and causing acts of subversion, infiltration, and insurgency in or about Chicago, Illinois, while acting as a covert Marxist propagandist, agitator and indoctrinator, and posing as a community organizer. His acts are "high crimes and misdemeanors," within the Constitution's meaning, and disqualify him for the office of President. His acts, and those of his co-conspirators, are also actionable under criminal law.

63. Certainly much of the hysteria from the left over Sarah has to do with abortion, much as it did with the Clarence Thomas nomination.

Abortion was the lasso which the socialist left thought they could use to corral women into a permanent, dependent voting bloc.

Much to their amazement many women are horrifed that a compassionate nation would condone the killing of innocent unborn human beings.

Go Sarah!

Or, even worse in the case of Barack Obama, condone the murder of newborn babies!

65. W @ 27:
OK, let's go . . .

I'm waiting for those Obama vs McCain debates that Obama has been avoiding for months now. They are going to be real fun to watch and not for the reason you think. Obama seems to be lost without a teleprompter. He can't even get what faith he is right ("My Muslim faith", then Stephanopoulos has to correct him . . . "Christian . . "). They guy is a walking gaff machine and when he's not misspeaking he's filling the dead air with "ummmm", "ahhhh", "ummmm". I think that the term laconic fits Mr. Obama quite well when he's not scripted and blowing smoke up everybody's ass ("We are the change we have been waiting for!" Really? I am? And I was here all along!).

There is one thing that is gold around this place (SP) and that is when the Demorats and liberals start getting nasty and trivial they are scared and you guys have every reason to be at this point. Obama has blown a double digit lead that is fast turning into a double digit disadvantage in just a few weeks. Also, that vaulted congressional blow-out is starting to look like smoke too thanks to the "do nothing" congress run by Reid and Pelosi. Looks like while you boys and girls were measuring the drapes the real Demorat record of pork and BS got out among the normal people.

At this point Obama, by picking for Veep a guy that's been in the senate six years longer than McCain, has blown his "change" message and McCain, by picking a provable maverick like himself, now has taken the change mantle for his ticket. Oops. Up until Obama blew the "change" message the press was crowing that people want "change". They still do but Obama isn't playing that game. Oops again.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Rossi is ahead in the polls too. Man, this is going to be a fun November. Read 'em and weep W, you deserve it. And don't forget to check back after the first debate.

66. Jiggy, you bring up a point that jiggled my memory. When I ran for office, all three candidates trooped over to the local rag for our 'editorial' interview. I got stuck answering questions after a 'er and 'ah guy. Frankly, I lost my train of thought, because after half listening to the guy, I got confused on what he was saying and that affected me. Should it have? No, but I am green at these things.

I see Obama is one of those that keeps talking and saying nothing as he talks. I am confused after about 30 seconds on what he is saying.

70. Lest we forget: The Democrats are largely responsible for the current lending/mortgage meltdown. They ramroded Fair Housing legislation that prevented and punished loan application discrimination. Then they encouraged non-qualifed minorities to apply for loans they clearly couldn't afford. If the lenders balked, then housing attorneys threatened massive lawsuits under the new federal law. The lenders gave in, knowing many of the loans would be bundled with good loans and sold to investors, and other loans were government insured. When it came time to pay the piper and the borrowers predictably defaulted, the investors demanded the lenders take back the worthless paper. Then the lenders started to go under, but whined that because they were just following the fair housing laws, the government (we taxpayers) should indemnify them with bailouts (free money).

So guess who was one of those housing attorneys that was shaking down the banks for unqualified minority borrowers? Yes, grasshopper, it was Barack the Magic Marxist Negro! Now neighborhoods are ghost towns, businesses are bankrupt, our national debt is beyond reach, and things couldn't be better for the communist community organizers whose intent is to destroy American infrastructure wihout firing a shot, i.e., subversion and sedition.

There is a long-standing maxim in the common law: One cannot do indirectly what one is prohibited from doing directly, e.g., One cannot try to destroy the US government indirectly by destroying our economic infrastructure (Obama), if one is prohibited from destroying the government directly by bombing the Pentagon (Ayers).

Obama is clearly an enemy of our nation who should be running from the law instead of running for the Presidency. He, and his slinking henchmen, must be stopped.

71. Swatter @ 66: In my experience, people that "uuummm, aaaaahhhh" are modulating their response(s) because they are buying time. Why buy time? Because #1 they don't know the answer (and hope something will come to them to bail them out) or #2 they know that the answer they want to give will not go over big with the listener so it must be altered to fit the situation (you could read that as a "lie"). People that know what they are talking about or are not trying to lie or gauge the audience usually just put the answer out there. There is a third reason too. If the person is bashful or a bad public or conversational speaker. For this post we can all agree that isn't the case with Obama so either #1 or #2 applies. Or probably both.

Pirate: Although I can't say unequivocally (yet) that Obama is the enemy of our nation, there is something not right with where he comes from. The Ayers/Dorn connection is very worrisome to say the least. His "organizing" for ACORN is also troubling. It is pretty well known that ACORN is communist connected and when you mix in his America hating preacher and wife you have some very toxic influences. If influences are what they are. If he sought them out they are far from influences. Why in his Texas offcies do they have Che pictures pasted over American flags?

Biden update. This is a little off topic but can be considered a news flash. Biden's tax returns were just released and it looks like with incomes of 150K+ and 300K+ (depending on the year) he contributed to charity barely 100 and 300 dollars (respectively). This is worse than Gore and the Clintons with the dirty underwear. Once again, the liberals who want to help the downtrodden and poor wish to do it only with your money and surely not theirs. Hell, I contribute more than Biden and my income is but a small fraction of his.

72. G Jiggy @71. I can understand your hesitancy in committing to the position that Obama is an enemy. Further amplification may be found on this site's Public Blog (to your right) in the article, "Proof of Obama's Marxism; Spread the Word!" That should get you started on the thread. Additionally, when one multiplies the probability that Obama is an enemy times the damage he could cause our nation as President were he, in fact, an enemy, the pragmatic standard of proof required for opinion drops dramatically.

Obama also has similar Trotsky/Lenin/Che-themed campaign posters showing him with a red-tinted steely, glaring visage.

73. The story of the day is that lying bastard bHo has been smugly pontificating and telling his minions he wants the "troops out" while working behind their backs to keep them in Iraq.

The lying duplicitous creep.

OBAMA TRIED TO STALL GIS' IRAQ WITHDRAWAL

This is huge. Mark my words you'll be hearing a LOT about this. It's already all over the blogs and Rush is foaming at the mouth about it. There is no way this can be covered up or put back in the barn or whatever. America BETTER get pissed that this lying bastard is telling them he wants troops out NOW while working behind closed doors to keep them in war. Palin had it completely right in her speech: saying one thing to the 'unwashed masses' in Scranton then mocking them in San Fran.

74. More On Obama Trying To Interfere With Iraq Negotiations

PRO-TROOP PAC CONDEMS OBAMA ATTEMPTS TO STOP U.S. TROOP WITHDRAWAL FROM IRAQ --- DISGRACEFUL ACTION TAKEN IN IRAQ FOR POLITICAL ADVANTAGE!

(SACRAMENTO) -- Move America Forward's political action committee, MAF Freedom PAC, today condemned Barack Obama for "putting his own political objectives ahead of the safety of U.S. military personnel in Iraq."

Iraqi government sources have revealed to the New York Post that Presidential candidate Barack Obama demanded Iraqi officials stop negotiations with the Bush Administration to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq. Fearful that the success in Iraq would harm his political aspirations, Obama sought to keep U.S. troops in Iraq so he can continue attacking the Bush Administration for not imposing a timetable for withdrawal.

"If these allegations prove to be true, it should be the end of the Obama campaign," asserted MAF Freedom PAC Chairman, Melanie Morgan.

"Obama should have the decency to recognize that he lacks the moral character to serve as Commander-in-Chief, and he should withdraw from the ticket. I have never heard of any candidate deliberately trying to get Americans killed to prove their point."

According to the New York Post story, not only did Obama seek to get the Iraqi's to stop negotiating with Americans on the troop drawdown, he also tried to bully General David Petraeus to agree to a hard withdrawal date.

"The hypocrisy of Barack Obama to say in the United States that he wants a speedier troop withdrawal date, while telling the Iraqis to stop negotiating is appalling. Even supporters of a quicker U.S. withdrawal must be sickened by his conduct in Iraq. If there was ever a candidate who has demonstrated the lack of character and leadership to represent the United States in foreign affairs, it is Barack Obama," Morgan concluded.

MAF Freedom PAC is the political action arm of Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org), the nation's largest pro-troop organization. The patriotic group is led by San Francisco pro-troop activist and renowned radio & television personality, Melanie Morgan.

75. During his July Tour of Iraq, Obama Tried to Undermine Negotiations between the US and Iraq for Troop Draw-Down

Senator Barack Obama's actions were not only completely inappropriate but they may have treaded on some illegal and unethical ground. Ed Morrissey at Hot Air explains:
Hypocrisy isn't the issue here; it's the interference of Obama in military and diplomatic affairs. Just on diplomacy, interfering with the United States in its diplomatic efforts is a Logan Act violation. Interfering with war policy treads on even more serious ground, especially since the primary motivation appears to be winning an election without regard to whether it damages our ability to fight the enemy or drives wedges between us and our ally, the elected, representative government in Baghdad.
It will be interesting to note whether the mainstream media pick up on this because if it had been a Republican candidate for president interfering with a sitting Democratic president's military and diplomatic efforts, they would be screaming in outrage about this from the mountain tops.

Lying creep

77. Acid on the brain,

You idiot:

She paid for it with her own money," Roger Wetherell, chief communications officer of Alaska's Department of Transportation and Public Facilities told Us Weekly.

Source: The LA Times, not quite a Republican mouthpiece!

So what's the scandal when a public executive buys a tanning bed with their OWN MONEY? I mean, it's not like having a felon give you $600,000 to buy your house, and you have to then apologize for the move.

So the "worst" you Slavers can come up with is that Sarah Palin actually spends her OWN money, as opposed to spending funds from felons?

Posted by: Shanghai Dan on September 15, 2008 06:08 PM
78. Oh, and how about the vacation condo in the Dominican Republic that Charlie Rangel conveniently forgot several times in the last 10 years? Not to mention the income from that place?

I can't believe the utter ineptitude and ignorance of you leftist, marxist Slavers. A woman buys a luxury with her OWN money, and in your mind it's bad.

Meanwhile your candidate for President gets a $300,000 gift (in the form of the purchase of an inaccessible portion of land) from a convicted felon. And your Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee - the committee in charge of taxation - conveniently proves himself to be a serious tax fraud.

How your twisted, drug-addled minds work is a wonder...

79. I just watched the Todd Palin interview on Fox. He seems like a real stand-up guy. In fact, the whole Palin family appears all-American, as opposed their leftist and media enemies who are definitely all-unAmerican. There is such a stark difference. The Palins make your heart smile, and the left makes you wretch. I can't really call it a culture war because the left doesn't have a self-sustaining culture, it merely parasites off of our producing culture. The left truly is of the dark side. I'm convinced they get that way after looking into their depths and finding....nothing. Their posts prove this.

80. An email sent by a friend:

Obama has more problems than just Sarah Palin.

Obama WILL lose because support for him is soft. Here's why: Obama gamed the primary/caucus system and his campaign committed out & out FRAUD in the caucuses. His campaign thugs bussed in out-of-staters, intimidated and bullied Clinton supporters and filed fraudulent reports. He cheated Hillary out of enough votes to have made a difference in the overall delegate count. There is now a complete report on ALL of this despicable behavior & videos of interviews with caucus workers. The most poignant is a black woman in video #3, who describes 2 black men preventing anyone but Obama supporters (including several elderly black women) from passing them on their way to the caucus. She is terribly sad about this, remembering how black folks suffered the same way in past elections. Everyone should be aware of this. Please view the 4 videos & read the report: http://wewillnotbesilenced2008.com/ http://www.lynettelong.com/ The delegates Obama got in the caucuses do not represent as many voters as the ones Hillary got in the primary wins. So that's why his support out there is soft. The end NEVER justifies the means, when the means are dishonest. Black people have worked long and hard to have fair elections, and Obama has broken this trust. Rumor has it that the Obama crew is planning some surreptitious fraud for the GE, too. They are scrambling to register any college student they can, arming them with a absentee ballot application, and out of the side of their mouths, telling them that no one can cross check if they register in their college state & vote there, too. Politics, Chicago style. Just imagine what kind of President he'd be. We'd wish we had Bush back!

81. Senator Lieberman was in town yesterday and said he thinks Washington is now a battleground state that may send McCain and Sarah to the White House. He said McCain and Sarah will be focusing on us. What joy!

Four years of Obama would be like four more years of Stalin.

Obama must go to jail.
