Apropos of nothing, Joel Connelly's take on the wit and wisdom of Gary Locke's remarks at the Obama/Gregoire fundraiser this past week is worth a read...and a chuckle.

5. That Gary is such a kidder. At a press conference once, several years back, he referred to his soon to be first born as the "impending child."

What a guy. I wonder if he learned anything from the I-965 debacle that happened on his watch?
