AG Rob McKenna has secured the backing of the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs (WACOPS). This on the heels of also landing the endorsement of the Seattle Firefighters.
The issue isn't necessarily simply winning the endorsements themselves. It's that McKenna's challenger, Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg, isn't getting them. Those are the kind of endorsements he should be landing - especially as a Democrat in the Evergreen State - if he wants to build critical mass to topple a sitting Attorney General.

Hard to take this seriously.
Posted by: Caperon on June 24, 2008 08:58 PMYou can take my advice or leave it. I couldn't possible care less. If you want to think Dino is going to suck in a lot of bi-partisan votes because of "whatever", feel free. My prediction is that he'll lose again, just like last time.
It's not because that's the outcome I want, but because it's the outcome I think is most likely.
I'm sure you "cherish" the advice of Unkl Witz just like the Dem's cherish the advice of Karl Rove and Billy Kristol. Both sides know they certainly don't have the advisee's best interests in mind.
Just between you and me, I am far more concerned about the national economy and the war in Iraq than about who is governor in this state.

Well, aren't you a noble fellow. What a high-minded declaration.
Posted by: stu on June 24, 2008 10:34 PMThanks! I appreciate the comment. It would be best for us all to stop the name calling (yep, I've done my share of it) and talk about the issues. We all have a lot more in common than than we have divisive issues.
Cuz, we're all fellow citizens of the greatest country on "God's green earth". I truly believe that.
