2. Sorry this is nothing new. All EMS services do this. Plus when it comes to air evac they have only so much room in the cabin. Which isn't much.

Lifting extreme over weight people puts a huge task on all EMS services. We have to bring in more people to help lift and then if you get hurt, your out and that really cost in more ways than one.
