Yet, More on Hanford

The PolitickerWA.com site has more coverage of Obama's Hanford gaffe, noting the general displeasure of the locals, as well as this:

Local Democrats maintain that Obama's policies on Hanford cleanup, despite his ignorance of the issue, would be better suited for the region based on ideology and general judgment. But if Republicans have their way, his comments will give Washington voters pause come November.

True. Though let's be honest, Democrats have the Boeing jobs arrow in their quiver. Whatever the reality of the issue, they - led by Washington's predominantly Democratic Congressional delegation - will blame John McCain with gusto for shipping American jobs overseas...or to Alabama. It's an issue waiting to be exploited at their leisure, should the race come to it.

1. Should the race come to it? The Dems have no trouble lying about this issue, despite the fact that several have taken money from EADS. Pelz & Co. have been sending out release after release. They then flew a plane over McCain's event here recently with a sign about 100 years in Iraq. So, I think it's fair to say they're already going there.

2. ARe you suggesting that the party led be a governor who didn't have a clue when and why Boeing moved headquarters to Chicago is prepared to discuss jobs at Boeing. Your kidding, right?

3. So, John McCain already runs the Defense Department who selected Airbus? The problem was with the managers at Defense and it is the Rs who may yet the competition level.
