The e-Campaign

I love this post from Patrick Ruffini, talking about the way to handle supporter contacts via email. His presumption that McCain's short-staffed campaign may well be responsible for that campaign's related weakness is probably a good one. And McCain's own challenges creating a large small-donor base are well known.

The more important thing is that other campaigns on down the ballot take care to heed Ruffini's advice.

1. So, while I agree with you Eric, it just turns my stomach that 'shallowness' matters.

Obama, the 'emperor hath no clothes', belts out these one-liners so both sides think they have their guy, but at the same time, he pontificates about 'nuance'.

So, McCain, the plugger and chugger, tries to talk about 'nuance' and he gets the rap- "boring".

What has our political system come to? This is why a Darcy Burner almost was elected last time out.
