Welcome to the Northwest, Red County!

Right-of-center website and magazine Red County has branched out into our lovely backyard with a Washington State offering.

From talking with them, it looks like one can expect focused coverage of the Governor's race as well as state initiatives too...plus potentially more to come. They're definitely worth checking out and a welcome addition to the local blogosphere given the comparative dearth of conservative voices.

1. Wow!

Welcome Red County.

Has anyone explained the demographics of Washington State to you.

Did they warn you that you'll likely be taken no more seriously than a dog, sideswiped by the car he was chasing down the street and had the misfortune to catch?

Good luck in this very Blue environment.

We will be anxiously awaiting your unbiased analysis.

3. Yeh Very Blue, Like the 2004 election, where Gregoire won how many counties? And it really was a Rossi slaughter!

Well this year hopefully we will put that do nothing but Piss away money and grow the government machine on a real diet!

It's time for a recession in governement spending, and with a 2.5 Billion dollar budget to take an axe to, it will be fun to watch.

We'll be looking forward to the downsizing of Washington Government.

4. A Rossi "slaughter"? How so?

If it was, why is Gregoire in the Guv's mansion?

Are we talking real-estate or voters?

5. Welcome Red County. A welcome sea change in political philosophy apart from the ocean of ignorance we normally receive on this side of the state.

...also, Don't mind the poster @ 1 as every family has "that Uncle" living in the attic that no one talks about at family gatherings....well, S.P. is no different.

6. I mean she couldn't even win in a Blue state with out recounting three tims, and you all think this was an edict or slaughter, she barely squeeked by in what you claim to be a blue state. It's Blue in a few counties, but hardly state wide.

Her budget defecit from her massive spending spree is now 2.5 Billion and rising. As usual for a democrat.

7. A majority of the people vote blue. Since it is people, not counties that vote. I would regard it as a blue state.

And I welcome Red County. Who knows, maybe she can change some minds.
