Irreverent Friday Funnies

This is probably more for the younger set though still delightful if your sense of humor is a bit twisted. I enjoyed the "cankles" reference. The thong reference was a bit more troubling.

8. This actually kind of bugs me. "I will not be ashamed."

Um, waking up hungover next to a one-night stand (and, apparently, an unattractive one?) Getting drunk at your friends wedding and shacking up with some guy? Running into your professor wearing yesterdays clothes and then hoping he'll be cool when you try to take his daughter out?

Is it just me, or are these the kinds of things people SHOULD be ashamed of? This commerical is just another reminder of how immature and irresponsible we are as a society. Completely irreverent about sex, completely oblivious to its consequences.

They call it "sexual liberation." I call it "being a slut."

9. Getting into "culture war" material here. I like the cankles part and agree that all of those represented don't mind being labeled as "sluts". Most everyone has had those type of episodes and lived for the moment in their 20's and 30's.

Something to consider: For those who view being irresponsible and not having to be accountable as their version of freedom, think about how your life could be better if you took a less twisted view of the world. That would be difficult though if you were "soulless". Would you trust the stereotypical people in the video to buy a car or a mortgage from ?

10. "The thong reference was a bit more troubling."

I disagree. The thong reference wasn't troubling at all. It was seeing a portly asian guy sporting a banana hammock that was not only troubling, but absolutely disturbing. I believe a friend of mine would define it as "Sick and Wrong", and I can't disagree with her.

11. Well, they might not be ashamed, but they sure as heck might wake up with an STD. And that definitely wouldn't have been worth it!
