Tim Ford, Assistant Attorney General for Government Accountability (and Open Government Ombudsman), has declared his candidacy for a position on the Washington Court of Appeals (district encompassing Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, Jefferson, Clallam and Grays Harbor Counties), running on a platform demanding "open and accountable government".

The state courts need more of that.
