For a discussion of the Washington state primary results.   You may want to look at this county map from time to time.  (Or put in another link to results, if you can find a better one.

1. Pack it up Mike Huckabee. A complete trouncing in today's WA Republican primary.

2. Is it just me....or do the dynamics of each counties Republican votes look almost identical?

As I scroll down county to county - I see almost identical voting patterns for votes for Huckabee, McCain, Paul and Romney...even Thompson! This is bizarre! Thompson and Romney are no longer running for president - yet the dynamics of the voters - county by county reflect the same voting patterns for them... Ron Paul has the same slight vote totals - always behind Romney (who isn't running..) and McCain has this enormous lead....always.....Huckabee is always running second place except for one county which picked...ummm "Romney"?

This is the most obvious bogus vote counting I've seen yet in our states history - and I'm not even on board with any of the candidates. This screams of fraud.....Amazing! It's as though someone worked up a number model of what they wanted to see and applied it to each countys tallies...The problem is - in real life - vote tallies are never so similar county by county....

3. County results are here: http://vote.wa.gov/elections/wei/ResultsByCounty.aspx?RaceID=9206&CountyCode=%20&ElectionID=0&RaceTypeCode=O
or if that doesn't work just go to http://vote.wa.gov and follow your nose. Cheers from your friendly politicker.

4. For the record, the vote patterns so far are just about what I would expect. McCain is doing a little better in urban areas, a little worse in rural areas. He's doing very well in Kitsap, where there is a big military presence. And so on.

7. Isn't it interesting that even though McVain has garnered a plurality of votes in WA, he is very challenged (57% in) to achieve an outright majority with 49%? In other words, more votes have apparently been cast for candidates who are not even running or have no chance at winning, than for the one who will win the nomination - within his own party!

Secondly, is it not interesting that the D's have consistently turned out double to triple the number of people motivated to determine their nominee? In light of this, how is McVain's strategy of branding his right-wing critics as "babies", "whack-jobs", "traitors", and "dumb-asses" going to deliver him the numbers necessary for the Presidency?

8. Dear queen chrissy, can you be taught or do you simply refuse to learn from the lessons of others?

...the town of Vallejo, CA considering filing bankruptcy. The reason for the filing? The pension costs of bloated union contracts.

Does any of that sound even remotely familiar, chrissy? Let's remind you...

3. Allow me to repeat myself----
The Washington Budget situation is much, much worse than any of you think. Much worse than the $423 Million forecast reduction in revenue.
The 6/30/07 State Retirement Fund Annual Report just came out. It shows a $5 BILLION Underfunded Deficit. $5 Billion!!

In essence, Gregoire's Rainy Day Fund came from Underfunding the Pension Fund.
If you took out a 2nd mortgage on your house for $1 Billion...and put the loan proceeds in the bank and said "look, I have a $1 Billion Rainy Day Fund!!", you would in essence be doing what Gregoire just did. Doesn't anyone else see the financial "shell-game" she & her fellow in-charge Dems have just perpetrated on us????

Here is even worse news....
Nearly 50% of the assets in the State Retirement Fund are in Foreign & Domestic EQUITIES...stocks.
Since the date of this statement, the Dow/S&P/NASDAQ have DROPPED nearly 10%. Some foreign equities have dropped more than that. Generously calling it a 10% LOSS in principal value, this equates to another $3.7 BILLION in underfunding on top of the 6/30/07 $5 BILLION or a total of $8.7 BILLION!!

This should be Rossi's #1 issue.
Gregoire has failed to fund existing liabilities which are skyrocketing passing this obligation on to future generations while making it worse by new programs and additional hiring of State Workers and labor concessions.

WE ARE IN DEEPER SH*T THAN MOST OF YOU REALIZE.
Dino, start pounding on this FISCAL IRRESPONSIBILITY nad Budget shell-games.

9. What's the deal with the Shark not having feedback on his posts?
Is there some reason that he doesn't want people to discuss his thoughtful insights?
Is he at a point, which he is not willing to hear people that disagree with him? (How Bushy)
Isn't that the idea of a Blog?
Should we just consider his posts the rants of a angry man?

Jumping on the O'Reily Bandwagon with the Michelle Obama statement. Not taking the entire statement in context with the rest of the speech. Talking about the political excitement and the huge crowds of people showing up for change, for the first time in her lifetime. But the intent is not important to some people, only partial sound bites to be misconstrued. (Yeah I am sure she hates America)
Kind of like John McCain being taken out of context, on 100 more years in Iraq. You have to take the following parts on; 'Bomb, Bomb Iran' to get it in context and know what he really thinks.

10. inre: Danw's post~

Unfortunately for Barack, Michelle Obama has the gift of gaffe and gab. The first time I saw that was on the 60 minutes interview when she spewed "...the realities are, as a black man, you know, Barack could get shot going to the gas station" ( I guess we can deduct from that inane statement that no other ethnicity has ever been shot near a gas station)

The best thing B.O. could do at this moment for his campaign is to extract her foot from her mouth and insert a sock in it's place......at least until after November 4th.

Of course, that appears to be easier said than done.
