Game Changer

Casey Corr has single-handedly made me more enthusiastic for the GOP Presidential ticket this fall: the notion, remote as it might be, that Jay Inslee could be the Democratic nominee for Vice President.

No. Thank. You.

3. I'm surprised my Crosscut counterpart Steve Clifford didn't write the Inslee piece...

5. Inslee is the sleaziest ass in Washington polictics today. I can't understand how Snohomish Co. can stand him after being run out of eastern Washington.

6. Bush. Stinky. Poo.

7. That would be one way to rid ourselves of his slimy presence.

8. Inslee is a real mental lightweight, who really doesn't get his facts straight. Of Course that would fit in with Obama and in the Clinton presidency, it would mean that the VP would have a hard time overshawdowing Bill. So it might work. I would prefer that they get rid of Patty (tennis shoes) Murray to such a dead end position as she too is a mental lightweight, but her political handlers are to sharp and would not fit in either with Obama or Clinton.

Not only was Inslee run out of Eastern Washington, but his own party helped with the gerimandering that resulted in his being run out. This guy was not liked even within his own party, which is why after being re-elected but from Bainbridge Island & Snohomish County he has been such a good toady.

9. : shutters : Jay Inslee is the worst of the worst.

I'm not sure which would be worse, Hillary as President, or Jay Inslee as VP.

10. Worst representative ever. Absolutely fantastic at sending me cut and paste replies about why he supports everything I oppose for my own safety/prosperity, though.

11. Inslee is a scumbag of the first order. He helped lead the charge to offshore IT and other jobs to India a number of years back. I remember that, shortly after reading about it in the India Times, I read that he and Bagdad Jim tried to impress Seattle workers at the Labor Temple by pretending to be pro American labor. According to the article, they were jeered off the stage. Inslee is a compassionate Democrat who wants to create jobs...for foreign workers. I sent him an email about this and he responded by saying basically that he had no responsibility to reply to me because I wasn't in his district. Bagdad Jim didn't respond at all...not even an auto response. Real class.

12. Not going to happen. Why waste your VP on a small western state that your likely going to carry?

BTW, looks like Mitt "Mr. Negative" Romney is dropping out. There goes SP's great white hope.

13. PLEASE, PLEASE, put Inslee on the ticket with Hillary! Then I won't be emabarrassed by having the dumbest man in Congress representing me locally.

14. Wow. I really have nothing to add here.

15. Casey,
Since you are reading the thread over here and sending people over from Crosscut, please know Jay is not the only one who lacks gravitas. Essentially you laid out qualifications for a Wal-Mart greeter not a Vice Presidential candidate in your "Rumor" piece.

16. With Inslee on the Dem ticket I will absolutely vote for McCain even if I have to take a shower afterwards for feeling so dirty...
