1. Do you Republicans ever mull over in your minds how your party, which had such an excellent opportunity to do something good after the 2001 terrorist attacks, self-destructed over the past seven years? Just how did you guys and gals fall all over yourself? Can't blame the Democrats - they had nothing to do with your self-destruction. GWB, Randy Cunningham, Larry Craig, et. al. - man, when you guys blow it, you blow it big!

2. I'm sorry, PI, who are you and why should I care?

3. "Politically Incorrect" does the junk you barf here have anything to do with issues?

Well of course it doesn't any more than your last Democratic President screwing around with a 20-something intern in the Oval Office and pardoning a boatload of criminals as he left office did.

I get so tired of liberals and their little grade school neener-neener stuff. Grow up for heaven's sake!. Let's have a discussion of the future of the country for once.

6. 1. PI
Do you Democrats ever mull over in your minds how your party, which had such an excellent opportunity to do something good before the 2001 terrorist attacks, did nothing to stop those very attacks. Just how did you guys and gals fail all over yourself? Can't blame the Republicans for your failure to act - I mean, Dingy Harry, and his gang of do nothings, what have they accomplished in their last year? - man, when you guys blow it, you blow it big!

7. True believers on either side, like Politically Incorrect, selectively filter the information they dwell on in order to reaffirm their partisan preconceptions. So they can actually look at the politics of the last decade and actually think that Republicans are the only political party with problems. They actually believe it! It's symptomatic of letting your emotions dictate your politics as opposed to reason.

Rational people on both sides look at things and realize that if you put your trust in politicians or the government (democrat or republican) you're always going to be let down. But we still have principles, so onward. :D

8. #7 AD has it pretty much on target.

PI #1 is essentially correct in his assessment of Republican accomplishments (or lack of) during their breif majority status.

However it is also true that the Democrats look pathetic in their renewed role as majority party. All they can do is bash Bush. Pathetic!

So, where do we go from here? Doesn't matter if you are partisan Democrat or Republican - things look grim.

Conservatives (both moral and fiscal) like myself have almost no where to turn. Both sides propose more government control (and Help??).

The Dems will raise taxes, increase governmental control, and flush the societal "norms".

But, they will win because the Republicans are not a cohesive group -- they are cannibals.

So, we are lost.

9. Dick:

This article you are replying to is about the best place to go.

The GOP won't be conservative as long as conservatives abandon it. Show up to the caucus and make a difference.

10. Moral and fiscal conservative..That is impossible. You cant stop the world from doing stuff you don't like and be a fiscal conservative. That is why I have lost faith in the L's.The D's are the Teflon party.Afraid to make a decision that may be used against them.
So there you have it The L's,and the T's.What a choice I have between the T's high rise urban villages,social programs,a carbon tax,open borders,and a 10 dollar cornish game hen,or the L's democracy franchises,congestion pricing,legislating morality,open borders,and a 10 dollar cornish game hen.

That is the choice we have, the Losers and the Teflons.

11. Check in with www.piercegop.org after checking your voter card (or the Pierce County Auditor's website)and you will find your precinct caucus location. For those of us who rememeber such things, this is where we fill up our dance card.

Come on down!

12. I noticed after going through the list that some Republicans have a dozen or so precincts they are responsible for. Not good.

13. swatter: all that means is that we are having single locations for multiple precincts, and that there is one chair per location. Each chair of such locations will have many helpers. For example, I am in the Henning precinct, but my name is not listed; rest assured, I will be there and will be in effect primarily responsible for that precinct, but I am simply not the caucus chair, and thus not listed on the web site.

14. Here's a clue for all of you: I am neither a Democrat or a Republican. In fact, I really hate the Democrats whereas I merely dislike intensely the Republicans.

The Democrats have been taken over by socialists masquerading as "progressives," and the Republicans have been conquered by "crony capitalists" and religious zealots.

I will not be voting for either in 2008.

15. The entire left column is obstructed by the sidebar on the SnoCoGOP website, for the 1st legislative district. I hope they fix that.

Again Pudge is a person who can't think or debate so he just attacks! IQ=65...maybe, that's giving him a lot of credit though.
