A Challenge For Supporters Of Clinton, Edwards, And Obama

Ordinarily, I leave posts on national politics for my own site, but after watching KOMO's Barack Obama commercial this morning, I decided to make an exception.  (Technically, it was a story on his fund raising visit, not a commercial, but Obama could use it, uncut, for an ad.  As a story, it lacked such essentials as the number attending and the amount of money raised.  As an ad, it would be great.)

With the help, I hope, of some of our Democratic friends.

If you are a local supporter of any of the three leading Democratic candidates, Clinton, Edwards, or Obama, I'll give you a chance to put up your argument here.  There are three conditions:  First, your argument should be limited to what they have accomplished, especially as elected officials.   I do not care whether they look good in a swimming suit (or bad in a pants suit), or whether they have had interesting lives, or whether they can talk really pretty.  I want to know what, if anything, they have done.  Second, each entry should be no more than a thousand words long.  Third, you should email it to me no later than the end of the year, so that I can post it before the Iowa caucus on January 3rd.

If I get more than one entry for a candidate, I'll choose the one that I think makes the best argument for that candidate.

And if I don't get any entries for one or more candidates?  Then I'll put up an open post, early next year, allowing all of you to speculate on why supporters of these three candidates are unwilling to tell us what, if anything, the three have accomplished.
