Back briefly to gloat (I)

I interrupt my hiatus to gloat for a few minutes about I-25, which, after spending no money on a post-qualification campaign, is currently leading with 58%, a larger percentage than either side of Simple Majority, Roads and Transit or I-960 has received in King County.

Congratulations to everyone who supported it, notably: Toby Nixon, Reagan Dunn and consultant Sharon Gilpin; to the many donors; Susan Hutchison; Sam Reed; John Creighton; Paul Guppy; and the many, many grassroots activists across the political spectrum and readers of this blog whose demand for accountable elections has impelled this forward.

And to Ron Sims and the obstructionists on the King County Council Democrat caucus, to the naysayers at the establishment editorial boards, and to the establishment journalists who even today cluelessly leave this issue off of their recaps: Boy are you all out of touch with the voters on this one.
