Satterberg Lead Steady

With 99% of the poll votes counted, Dan Satterberg still holds a 53.76% - 46.06% lead over Bill Sherman, not much movement from the 54.24% - 45.59% advantage he held after the first absentee tally. Later absentee counts will probably narrow the race modestly, but that initial lead is too substantial to overcome...some liberal fantasies aside.

In other news, Bill Bryant has moved past liberal cause celebre Alec Fisken in a tight race for Seattle Port Commissioner. Fisken had a 50.5% - 49.0% lead after the first absentee drop. It's now a mirror with Bryant up 50.5% - 49.0% after the poll votes were counted. Bryant obviously has some late mo' but given the small margin and initial Fisken lead it's going to be tight.

1. Looks like the King County Elections office Liberal Candidate Assistance Program/Ballot Production System (KCELCA/BPS) is in stealth or low volume mode for Fisken, and is awaiting a batch job for Sherman.
