Dean Logan poised to take over L.A. County Elections?

The Los Angeles Times reports that longtime L.A. County elections chief Conny McCormack has announced she will step down later this year.

McCormack's top deputy is none other than former King County Elections Director Dean Logan (remember him?), whom McCormack appointed after he fled Washington state under public pressure.

McCormack had earlier praised Logan's performance during the aftermath of the bungled 2004 election, giving him glowing reviews in the local press as part of the P.R. battle to try to prop up the integrity of the bogus election.

In a notice to the L.A. County Supervisors on Logan's appointment, McCormack wrote: Logan is known for his "commitment to protecting the voting process and fostering transparent government services"

I find it hard to believe that the L.A. County Supervisors would appoint Logan to succeed McCormack, but oy vay if they did.

1. Smart move by the left of LA County to recruit a guy like Logan to an even larger population. Now Logan will be able to count unauthenticated and improper provisional ballots from a much larger voter base, potentially securing many more victories for key Democrats. Next up, Logan can move to NYC.

2. Honestly, all I can do is laugh.

McCormack: "Dean, I so admire your steadfastness to insure that every vote counts, no matter what others may say."

Logan: "Oh, I know...and if I succeed you, every vote will begin to count in L.A. County, too. I don't know what King County will do without me."

McCormack: *teehee*

3. Doesn't matter, it's a DEM town and one only has to look at the crime rate there.

LA can have him.

Fools who need fools!

4. How can we warn the people in LA County that the fairness of their elections is about to be flushed down the pipes?!?!

(Assuming there is any fairness left...)

6. It's right out of the Liberal Playbook -- in chapter 5: "Making the County Elections Board MORE LIBERAL.

I have copies of the Liberal Playbook for sale ($10.95 + tax). Don't be left in confusion trying to figure out why Liberals do what they do!

Buy the Liberal Playbook and be the first Wingnut Conspiracy Freak to be able to authoritatively say: "That's right out of the Liberal Playbook!

7. Hey Headless. Ever read the Kennedy book on stealing elections. Copywrite 1960's.

You should pick one up.

8. There are two parties in LA- the illegal alien party and the citizen party.

Dean Logan is the man for the job to keep those illegals voting.

10. The LA County Board of Supervisors are elected on a nonpartisan ballot. But all but one of the five members are well-known Democrats. The lone Republican is Mike Antonovich. Putting Logan in there will mean they can cancel out another 100,000 votes out of Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino, San Diego, Kern, Fresno, and the other Republican-leaning counties.

11. I'm more concerned about the illegals that have voting rights and will continue to do so.

12. Dean "Incompetence" Logan probably put on the very top of his resume: "Stealing elections since 2004." Further explaining: "I miraculously found felons, dead people, pets, illegal alien's votes in the middle of the night in the basement of King County Elections Office on a THIRD try, in which, (shockingly!)(gasp!) out of Washington's 37 counties, King County JUST happens to be the biggest Democratic-leaning area. Wow! What a coincidence!

13. #6 Hey guy (headless lucy), you're stealing my trolling tricks from horsesass.org. I called it the liberal handbook but still, don't steal.
As far as you teaching wrasslin', do you touch the little boys? Even the black ones?

14. swatter 11--yep--the crux of the issue everyone knows but ignores like a fart in church; illegal aliens determining our lives (by voting), driving AND who cost us additional tax money in healthcare, auto insurance, schools and social services meant for our OWN legal citizens; no where in the world are illegals so "rewarded;" time to dry the well--now;
