Rumor Mill

I heard an (uncomfirmed) rumor that Sherril Huff has tapped Assistant Superintendent Garth Fell to be the next Superintendent of Elections.

The Superintendent position has been vacant since Bill Huennekens was demoted two years ago.

Worth noting that Garth Fell testified at today's Council hearing on the mail-only voting plan, but not Huennekens, who is officially the project manager for the transition to mail-only voting.

3. Garth "Disciplined for Negligence in the 2004 Election" essentially threw Nicole Way (the woman who falsified the mail ballot report on orders of Garth Fell) under the bus to save himself.

Not much of a leader, not much of a man.

Fingered his innocent staff to save himself.

Certainly not qualified to be Elections Superintendent.

I certainly hope this is just a rumor, Shark.

4. It's confirmed that it's a rumor, isn't it? A rumor, Stefan, by its very nature is unconfirmed. Once you confirm it, it's a 'fact.' I think that someone who uses the word 'contumelious' as ably and as often as you, should be alerted to such redundancies.
