Police have found the body of Zina Linnik, the abducted 12-year-old Tacoma girl. The suspect is in custody:
Court records name the man as 42-year-old Terapon Dang Adhahn, a convicted sex offender who has been in custody on an unrelated immigration matter since Monday."unrelated immigration matter"? If he's not a citizen, why wasn't he deported after the 1990 crime?
...
In 1990, he was charged with violently raping a 16-year-old relative, according to court records. He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of first-degree incest in exchange for completing 60 months of sexual-deviancy counseling.Adhahn was arrested Monday on an unrelated immigration matter, and was charged Monday with failing to register as a sex offender.
Adhahn is registered to vote in Pierce County.

Bush, Clinton, McCain, Kennedy are every bit as monstrous as this killer. They enabled, encouraged, and made it possible, even likely that this evil act could and would happen.
And, this happens every single day in America.
Every American who is killed, even "accidentally" by these illegal aliens is an act of terrorism. And those who stand idly by, or enable these acts are just as guilty.
These "people", indifferent to the sanctity and security of America, are no different that Osama Bin Laden. They worship a false god, be it the dollar or Allah.
Oh well.
Countries come and countries go. This is just another sign of our inevitable collapse. A collapse that is being exacerbated by the evil men and women who have taken an oath upon our most sacred of documents, the Constitution, to uphold same. And deliberately, willfully, failing in their obligations and duties.
Sad but true.

Last April Jonathan Rowan gunned down Rebecca Griego on the UW campus. Jonathan Rowan was a Brit in the county ilegally. He was previously arrested by Seattle police for drunk driving and eluding. But since Seatlle is a "sanctuary city" his immigration status wasn't checked and the rest is history. If he had been deported Griego would likely be alive.
Many states are now training officers to enforce immigration laws including Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Arizona.
Unfortunately, WA is not one.
One of the great ironies is that Mexico uses its police force to enforce immigration laws. But they also place their military on their southern border. Novel concept eh?
One more for you.....
After previous crimes, why wasn't illegal status detected?

George Bush is directly responsible for the murder of more little girls, boys, men, women, and fetuses than all the perverts in the world.
Grieve for Zina. Do as you will with her murderer.
Then get serious and remove the monster.
So the real lesson of this crime is that George Bush is evil!
You guys screaming for revenge (castration and death penalty?) are acting like Republicans. this is the George W Bush solution to terrorism and we've seen how well revenge works.
We in seattle are Democrats. We are civilized, we understand that our neighbors need a helping hand.
Rather than deporting or killing the perpetrator we should give him 5-10 years in jail and during that time we need to treat his addiction to child molesting. If we as a society try hard enough we can return this man back to the public in 2017 without his pedophile urges.
I tend to think this guy MUST be joking, but I fear he is serious.
It's like with the Virginia Tech shooting. If I say, "this was caused in part because the Virginia state government wasn't following federal law requiring them to restrict the criminal's access to guns," I am not saying that if they had done so, this would prevent most such shootings. I am just saying it would have prevented THAT one, and that a lot of people are dead because of that lack of competency.

Why in the hell do the Washington state republicans not use the kind of thing as a campaign issue? Posted by: wrath on July 13, 2007 03:22 PMFirst, let's remember that the courts have been holding WA DOC by a very short leash on sexual criminals who have completed their sentences. DOC has no choice but to release them. DOC can notify other branches of State government and they can try to have they sex offenders separated from society. Because that doesn't happen regularly enough, we have the sex predator registration system. Personally I don't blame DOC parole officers for the failure of this scum to be registered.
If one wants to get real angry, I suggest you look up the attorneys that brought suit and the judges who agreed with them that sex predators must be turned over to DSHS after their sentences are completed and that DSHS must show some of these sex predators being "curred" and released back into society.
The problem is not with DOC and its budget. The problem is with the legal profession and with the liberal judges that are chosen from the legal profession who end up directing state agency to do dumb things.
It is time that society lowers the burden of proof associated with keeping this kind of scum off the street and that any judge or attorney that says otherwise find pickets outside his home reminding him/her of what the community really thinks.

So Bob, are you saying that DOC "community corrections officers" (no such thing as P.O.'s in WA anymore) are not responsibile for identifying and addressing sex offenders who aren't properly registered? And that's the fault of lawyers and judges?
Heck, sounds like some of the fluff included in the latest review of DOC's infamous debacles that made the news following other tragic deaths.

Posted by: Daniel K on July 13, 2007 10:23 PMAlso, while I agree we cannot simply keep them incarcerated after they have served their sentence, I think that simply means our first order of business is to make sure new offenders do not ever get out of prison. The least we can do is try to improve things for the future. Not that YOU don't agree with that (I am not sure), but I've heard many politicians say that, and then turn around and fight AGAINST longer sentences, and it makes me damned angry.
Burdabee@51: It is not about what Bruce thinks they deserve, it is about following the Constitution. We cannot retroactively increase someone's sentence any more than we can restrict the right to free speech or bear arms. Liberals ignore the Constitution when it doesn't suit their purposes; conservatives have a higher standard than that.
Claudia@54: If you are responding to what I wrote @ 39, I was quoting other people, as I said in that post. I was posting those quotes because I do NOT agree with them.
Bob@56: You are right that the DOC's hands are tied significantly, but let's not let them too far off the hook. First of all, they are at least partly responsible for making sure he is registered; I guess wrath already covered this. And as we know from the story reported last week, Pierce County has been, with at least one DOC officer, HELPING level 2 and 3 sex offenders avoid registration requirements.

After previous crimes, why wasn't illegal status detected?
By GILLIAN GAYNAIR AND JON FRANK, The Virginian-Pilot
 April 4, 2007
Alfredo Ramos an illegal immigrant accused of killing two teens in a car crash Friday had previous convictions in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, but his crimes werent serious enough to lead to deportation.
Local judges do not routinely inquire about the immigration status of a person charged with misdemeanors, as Ramos had been, said John Gardner, a Virginia Beach immigration attorney.
Ramos is charged with manslaughter in the deaths of Alison Kunhardt, 17, and Tessa Tranchant, 16. On Tuesday, he withdrew his request for a bond hearing. His attorney, Richard Clark, said Ramos next court appearance would likely be April 17.
The 22-year-old Ramos was convicted earlier this year of driving under the influence in Chesapeake and public intoxication in Virginia Beach. Additional Chesapeake charges of driving without a license and without insurance were dropped.

Additionally, Gabriele Castillo, 18, another suspect in Loudoun's gang-related activity, was apprehended Thursday night and is currently being held on a deportation order by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE). Castillo is charged locally with street gang participation and felony gang recruitment, Troxell said.

Not Guilty Plea in Death of 'A Christmas Story' Director Illegal Immigrant Facing 10 Years in Prison
LOS ANGELES, Apr. 6, 2007 abc7.com- A driver arrested after the crash that killed "A Christmas Story" director Bob Clark and his son pleaded not guilty Friday to two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Prosecutors say Hector Velazquez-Nava, a 24-year-old Mexican national, was drunk when he steered his sport utility vehicle into the wrong lane of Pacific Coast Highway early Wednesday, and struck Clark's sedan. Clark, 67 and his son, Ariel Hanrath-Clark, 22, died at the scene.
Velazquez-Nava had a blood-alcohol level of 0.24 percent, three times the legal limit, authorities said. Both he and his passenger were treated for minor injuries.
Velazquez-Nava was being held on $200,000 bail, although a federal immigration hold prevents him from posting bail. Immigration officials have said he is in the country illegally.
If convicted, he could face at least 10 years in state prison, prosecutors said.

A Mexican national with alleged ties to drug trafficking won't face murder charges for his part in a gunbattle that ended with an Everett man's death.
Snohomish County prosecutors believe Hector Francisco Diaz, 28, was protecting himself when he opened fire and repeatedly shot Raymond O'Gorman in a south Everett apartment in November.
During an apparent robbery attempt, O'Gorman came to the apartment, pointed a pistol at people inside and ordered them to lie on the floor.
A short time later, Diaz, armed with a .357 handgun, shot O'Gorman five times, according to court records. O'Gorman also fired a round, from a .45-caliber pistol, prosecutors wrote.
Diaz, who is in the U.S. illegally, recently was indicted on eight federal charges for allegedly selling large amounts of methamphetamine to undercover detectives from the South Snohomish County Drug Task Force.

Twenty-two-year-old Benito Martinez was renting a room in the house and carpooled to various construction jobs with others also renting there.
Police were called to the home early Saturday morning around 1:45. "He apparently went into the 11-year-old's room and sexually assaulted her. I don't know at which point it was interrupted, but it was interrupted by someone who mentioned they would call the cops, and he left the house," says Lt. Tracy Jensen of the Syracuse Police Department. Martinez has not returned since.
Police say he is in the country illegally. He has been living in Syracuse for the last six months. They are concerned he may try to escape charges in Mexico. Jensen says the family of the victim reported the crime right away and have been helpful to police.
Charges include first-degree felony rape of a child, first-degree felony sodomy of a child and first-degree felony aggravated sexual assault of a child. Bond is set for $200,000.

Witnesses: SUV Driver Fondling Woman Before Crash
BLUFF Federal authorities filed a criminal charge Tuesday against the driver of a sport utility vehicle that crashed in southeastern Utah, killing eight illegal immigrants packed inside.
Rigoberto Salas-Lopez, 30, was charged with one count of transporting illegal immigrants resulting in death. Eight of the 14 people in the Chevy Suburban died after it rolled several times on U.S. 191 a few hours before dawn Monday.
Authorities determined that the driver and passengers were from Guatemala and Mexico. Salas-Lopez was arrested after fleeing into the desert after the crash in the Four Corners area of Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.
He said he was given the vehicle by a man in Phoenix who offered him $1,000 to drive the people to St. Louis from Phoenix, according to an affidavit by Timothy Chard, an agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Salas also stated that he knew the individuals in the vehicle were from Mexico and Guatemala and that they were in the United States illegally, Chard wrote.
Six men and two women were killed. Four men and one woman were injured and taken to hospitals.
Some survivors told agents that Salas-Lopez was fondling a woman before the crash accounts that contradict his claim that he was trying to avoid hitting an animal.

An undocumented immigrant arrested in the traffic death of an Antioch father of five was impaired by drugs and alcohol, had four prior DUI convictions and may be charged with murder, according to the Highway Patrol and the Solano County Sheriff's Office.
Jose Pena, 26, was booked into the Solano County Jail after he was released from John Muir Medical Center, a week after the March 31 death of Kent Boone, 33, in a head-on crash on Highway 12 in Solano County.
Pena, who the CHP alleged had two pounds of crystal methamphetamine in the Ford Expedition he was driving, crossed a double-yellow line at an estimated 90 mph to pass another vehicle when he hit Boone's Ford F-350 pickup truck.
Pena was impaired by alcohol and drugs when the crash occurred, had four prior drunken-driving convictions under an alias, and a narcotics conviction, the CHP said. Officers searched his Fairfield residence and confiscated more drugs and cash.
Boone was en route to work as a pipe fitter, and his survivors were devastated. Neighbors on Rock Court in Antioch visit and cook daily for his children. Boone had two children from a previous marriage, 10-year-old twins Hope and Autumn, as did his widow Regina Sorisio -- Brannon, 12, and Mackenzie, 11. Together they had a 5-year-old son, Jacob.
The federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency also has placed a hold on Pena, records show. The hold means Pena is potentially subject to deportation and ensures that local authorities notify ICE before releasing him, said spokeswoman
Virginia Kice.

Luciano Melendres drove to a friend's house Sunday night minutes after he fatally struck a pedestrian, police said, then he denied involvement when questioned.
Authorities said they found Melendres there thanks to a witness who saw the accident. She followed the driver and alerted police to his location, said Charlotte-Mecklenburg detective Charlie Brown.
The victim, Dacus Lamont Sims, 32, was trying to cross the street near Albemarle Road and Farm Pond Lane, police said.
Police charged Melendres, 30, with DWI, felony hit-and-run, driving with a license revoked, not having insurance, and a registration violation.
It's the second time Melendres, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, has been charged with driving drunk. Last week, he was convicted of DWI stemming from an arrest in March 2006.
From April to November last year, more than 900 illegal immigrants were identified as part of the new screening program. The most common charge was DWI, with more than 190 counts. Traffic violations, with 176 counts, were a close second, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Teen shooting suspect makes faces in court
By Melica Johnson and KATU Web Staff May 03 2007
LINCOLN CITY, Ore. - A 17-year-old accused of shooting a classmate in the face at a popular outlet mall on the Oregon coast made his first court appearance on Tuesday and there are now clues as to what may have sparked the crime.
Hector Canales-Robles made faces and danced in his chair while in court. He faces adult, Measure 11 charges in connection with the shooting of 18-year-old Ty Pedersen (pictured on the right), who was shot twice in the face on Saturday.
Pedersen had to be flown to a Portland hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment.
According to the allegations laid out in court documents, Canales-Robles was working at a clothing store at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Lincoln City when he took a break to commit the crime, going so far as to wear an all-black outfit and putting a nylon over his face.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement put an "immigration hold" on Canales-Robles following his arrest.
A spokeswoman for the agency told KATU News he is an "immigration violator," but she could not specify whether he was in the country legally or not. He could have been in the country legally but violated his immigration status somehow.
His relatives blocked our view when we turned the camera on them and were in no mood to talk after court.

Killed Kenosha cop 'one of the good guys'
Fatally shot during routine traffic stop

By Kendrick Marshall kmarshall@scn1.com
SOMERS, Wis. -- An 18-year veteran of the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department died after being shot in the face while conducting a traffic stop.
Frank Fabiano Jr. was shot multiple times near the University of Wisconsin-Parkside just before midnight Wednesday, Kenosha County Sheriff's Department spokesman Gil Benn said.
The shooting happened around 11:37 p.m. when Fabiano pulled over a 1995 red Chevrolet Astro van after the driver initially refused to stop the vehicle.
The driver then stepped out of his vehicle and shot Fabiano as the officer approached the van, authorities said. A Parkside police officer who was also on the scene radioed a report that shots had been fired and a deputy was down.
The man identified as the gunman, Ezequiel Lopez, 45, of Kenosha, fled the scene on foot and was arrested three hours later outside the Woodcreek apartment complex, police said.
Authorities suspect Lopez might be an illegal immigrant due to his use of several aliases and Social Security numbers discovered after his arrest. Lopez also had no valid driver's license when he was stopped by Fabiano.
The deputy was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead around 5 a.m. Thursday, Sheriff David Beth said.

Neighbor arrested following girl's abduction, assault
May 24, 2007 02:03 PM PDT
Jennie Runevitch/Eyewitness News
Indianapolis - A seven-year-old girl is recovering at Riley Hospital after police say she was abducted from her south side apartment and sexually assaulted. Prosecutors charged her neighbor with the crime.
Prosecutors say when a man abducted a seven-year-old from her room and sexually assaulted her, he shattered a young girl's innocence.
Prosecutors say Jonathan Castillo, 27, confessed in court that he committed the crime after drinking at the Capitol Place Apartments Tuesday. It was the middle of the night. The intruder wore a ski mask over his face.
Police say Castillo left his ground floor apartment, walked behind the complex and scaled a three-floor balcony where he broke into the little girl's bedroom.
The young victim was asleep inside with her mother asleep in the same room. Investigators say the intruder snatched the seven-year-old, and carried her back to a nearby apartment, where he sexually assaulted her. The girl's family members later awoke and discovered she was missing.
Brizzi filed one count of A felony child molestation, one count of A felony burglary, two counts of B felony criminal confinement and one count of battery against Castillo. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
If convicted on all counts, he could face up to 100 years in prison and possible deportation as an undocumented alien.

59 illegal immigrants found after shooting, assaults

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is investigating several assaults and a shooting in connection with 59 illegal immigrants found Thursday in two Litchfield Park-area houses.
Acting on a tip, deputies found 49 people in a house in the 6000 block of North Florence Avenue, with 10 more in the 12500 block of West Orange Drive, according to the Sheriff's Office. Both houses are in an unincorporated area northeast of Litchfield Park.
One man had been shot while three others had been beaten, according to the sheriff's office.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio described the two busts as "typical" drop houses. The injuries are evidence that violence along the border in Mexico is moving north, he added.
"Now that we have our deputies trained (in federal immigration enforcement) we're going to concentrate more on these drop houses," Arpaio said.
Arpaio said suspects in the assaults and shooting were included in the arrests. No details were available on the shooting or the assaults.
The federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement-trained deputies arrested all 59 people on suspicion of violating federal immigration laws.
They will likely be turned over to ICE for deportation, Arpaio said.

Janitor Convicted In Sex Assault

PHOENIX -- A jury on Thursday found a school janitor who molested a Valley freshman guilty on four counts of sexual conduct with a minor, one count of sexual abuse of a minor and one count of public sexual indecency.
Roberto Lemus-Retana, 27, is an illegal immigrant who the jury said molested the 14-year-old girl after she returned to Scottsdale's Saguaro High School campus to get some books.
County Attorney Andrew Thomas told reporters he was pleased with the verdict.
Lemus-Retana faces 52 to 86 years in prison when he is sentenced in July.
Police say Lemus-Retana was arrested less than an hour after the August 25th, 2006,
Court documents show the girl -- then a freshman at Saguaro -- told Scottsdale police that Lemus-Retana raped her in a school restroom and a computer classroom when she returned to the school to retrieve some books for homework.
Court records show Lemus-Retana maintained the sex with the girl was consensual.
Scottsdale Unified School District officials said Lemus-Retana was a contract worker of A-B-M Janitorial Services, a company hired by the district to service 29 of its 34 schools.

Track Star Killed By Suspected Drunk Driver
June 19, 2007 06:48 AM PDT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Tennessee State University student died Saturday when another driver broadsided her vehicle on Old Hickory Boulevard.
Metro police said 24-year-old Victor Benitez was drunk as he ran a red light at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Road, killing 22-year-old Joycelyn Gardiner.
"Just a tremendous young lady, from all accounts, who had all types of potential," said Don Aaron, Metro police spokesman.
"According to the witnesses who attempted to render aid to both victims, Benitez smelled strongly of alcohol and was very combative," Aaron said.
Investigators said Benitez was drunk and did not touch the brakes of his Ford Expedition before hitting Gardiner's car. She died a short time later at the hospital.
"Because of this crash that apparently involves alcohol by the other driver, her life is lost," Aaron said.
Police said Benitez was driving without a license and that he didn't have paperwork verifying that he was in the United States legally.
"They learned that he is a suspected illegal immigrant, thus, a federal hold was placed on him so he cannot make bond," Aaron said.
In February 2006, Benitez was convicted of car burglary. Nine months later, he spent seven days in jail for public intoxication and resisting arrest. The Mexican native now faces a vehicular homicide charge.

Undercover officer's car rammed, causing fatal accident
Jordan LaPier
The Arizona Republic
Jun. 20, 2007 05:02 PM
An undocumented immigrant rammed into the car of an undercover narcotics officer Tuesday night, causing an accident that left a Phoenix woman dead, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said that Guadalupe Perez-Borjorquez, 26, forced the SUV of sheriff's deputy Rob Kinnet into oncoming traffic near 27th Avenue and Durango, where it struck the woman's car. The sheriff's office said that the woman, Phoenix resident Nanuma Lavulavu, 46, died at St. Joseph's Hospital Wednesday.
The sheriff's office alleges that Perez has entered the United States illegally at least five times. Sheriff Joe Arpaio said that his deputies trained under Immigration and Customs Enforcement uncovered those entries the fourth of which was in 2002, and all of which are believed to have occurred in Arizona during their investigation of the suspect.
Perez will face charges of aggravated assault and second-degree homicide, according to the sheriff's office. He may also face a cocaine possession charge, Arpaio said, pending results of a test done on what deputies believe to be a small amount of the drug in Perez's car. He has been booked into the Fourth Avenue jail.
A police report indicates Kinnet saw Perez throwing beer bottles from his car and diving erratically down Durango around 6:30 p.m. Perez noticed the deputy's unmarked car, drove his own vehicle in reverse, and rammed into Kinnet's Ford Expedition, according to the report.

Officials say Perez then continually rammed Kinnet's car from behind, then pulled alongside it, forcing the SUV into oncoming traffic, where it struck Lavulavu's car. The police report indicates that the impact severed her leg. Kinnet was treated for minor injuries.
Perez then tried to flee on foot but was apprehended about half a block from the scene. According to the report, Perez later told officers he learned the driving maneuvers from watching American television.

Illegal immigrant sought in rape of teen
By SKYLER SWISHER/Staff Writer
http://www.columbiadailyherald.com
Maury County deputies and federal agents are looking for an illegal immigrant who is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl less than six hours after being released from jail.
Authorities detained at least 13 suspected illegal immigrants Tuesday during a search for the suspect, Juan Villa, 24, at American Mobile Village in Columbia. The victims father filed a complaint with the department, prompting the search.
Villa has been in the Maury County Jail 11 times since 2001 on charges of assault, public intoxication, driving without a license and contempt of court. He was released at 9:44 p.m. Friday on $1,000 bond. Officials said the rape allegedly happened shortly after midnight at a residence in Maury County not belonging to the victim or suspect.
Sheriff Enoch George said local law enforcement contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents before the rape allegedly occurred about deportation but were told the matter would be dealt with at a later date.
It is very frustrating, George said. I dont know what the statistics are, but these illegals are committing many, many crimes against the citizens of the United States. We try to follow up as best as we can with the manpower that we have.
Detective Jerry Williams said Villa knew the 15-year-old but the two were not close friends. Villa may be attempting to leave the country, he said.

Missing Tacoma girl's body found
By Brian Alexander
Seattle Times staff reporter
A suspect in the case of a missing 12-year-old Tacoma girl directed police to her body Thursday, ending a weeklong search after her July 4 abduction that drew national attention.
"It is with great regret and sorrow that I am informing our community that we have located the body of Zina Linnik," said Tacoma Police Chief Don Ramsdell, reading a statement Thursday night.
Ramsdell said information provided by the suspect led police and FBI investigators to the girl's body. Court records name the man as 42-year-old Terapon Dang Adhahn, a convicted sex offender who has been in custody on an unrelated immigration matter since Monday.
Adhahn had not been charged in Zina's abduction or death as of late Thursday.
Ramsdell would not say where the body was found, other than it was in Pierce County.
"Crime-scene investigators are currently processing the scene for evidence as the investigation continues," he said.
Police outside the family's home Thursday night said family members did not want to comment.
Zina, one of eight children in her family, was abducted from an alley behind her home the night of the holiday, police said.
Go back to watching Faux News, but please don't leave your house - you don't have enough sense to be on the streets. Really.
Posted by: cosmo on July 15, 2007 09:38 PMBetter deport them over there so we dont have to put them in jail here?
Isnt that similar to what the Catholic church did to pedo preachers? Just shuffle them around?
Terapon Dang Adhahn is a conservative.
Posted by: Aaron Kinney on July 16, 2007 09:04 AMWhat I said was that the Democrats CHEER the lax enforcement of immigration laws. Not that they are responsible for it. Bush is certainly more to blame than anyone else, over the past 6.5 years, for this problem.
There was no inconsistency or contradiction, despite your apparent implication of such.
Craig@74: A Green Card entitles the bearer to permanent legal residency. It DOES NOT grant citizenship or confer the rights thereof, and it may be revoked.
Also, from what I read, no, deportation IS grounds for deportation, and he SHOULD have been, under the law, deported. That he was not deported is not a problem with the law, but enforcement of the law.
Jimmy@80: Um, you do realize Ted Bundy was a citizen, right? And that Adhahn is not? Because you don't seem to realize that. Or maybe you, like Stefan@84, think that the government-sanctioned literal theft of our right to vote is unimportant .... ? Yes, it is a different sort of crime, but he didn't make a big deal out of it, he merely noted it, and implied it shows a problem, which is absolutely and unequivocally true, if you care a damn about democracy.
cosmo@86: "Since when is being a registered voter sacred?" Um ... since always? Since when has it NOT been sacred? What are you smoking?
Aaron Kinney@87: our government's responsibility -- as you should know, since you say you are a libertarian? -- is to protect its own citizens, not the citizens of other countries. So yes, it would be preferable that he would have been deported and raped and murdered children in some other country than that he be left here to do so; though, of course, even more preferable would be that he would have been jailed for far longer, and that if he was let out that he would have been deported, and that even if left here, that he would have been forced to register as a sex offender.
He joined the U.S. Army at 18. Is it right to just deport veterans to some other country like that? We have tons of green card holders serving overseas right now.
I don't think his immigration status is really the issue here. The issue is crimes against children and why some prosecutor led him plead down an INCEST charge.
If you need to strap your pet peeve onto this tragedy, that's just sad.
Absolutely, yes. Indeed, it is wrong to NOT do so.
We have tons of green card holders serving overseas right now.
And if they commit heinous crimes like this guy did, they should lose the right to be in this country.
I don't think his immigration status is really the issue here. The issue is crimes against children and why some prosecutor led him plead down an INCEST charge.
So you agree he should have been deported. Thanks.

Since You need to Jump On Top of this poor little girl's corpse to make your simplistic lies about immigration, I will clear things up for you, don't blame liberals.
Ronald Reagan destabilized central america in the 80's this began the greatest wave of immigrants, by number or proportion in American history.
Bush HW, did nothing about it.
Clinton did nothing about it, except Nafta whom the rightwing of the Dems and the Republicans said would cure everthing, instead it made it worse.
The republican congress in power for the last 11 years did nothing about it.
The COMPLETE REPUBLICAN CONTROL OF GOVERNMENT for the last 6 years, especially after 9/11 did nothing about it.
Hint George W Bush has complete control and responsibility for the enforcement of all immigration in this country.
But its the "liberals" fault.

Posted by: pudge on July 17, 2007 11:30 AMHuffPo's Plans For Revolution
Attention all moonbats: in addition to keeping your tinfoil hats tightly fastened at all times, you are advised by your mentors at Huffington Post to take the following precautions:
I recommend you start stocking up on medicine, food, gallons of water, toilet paper, reading material, Potassium Nitrate, Charcoal powder, and Sulfur. Because soon you will notice that things will start drying up from lack of interstate commerce, shortly after the upcoming Terrah-ist Attack on the NewNited States of Murka.
"NewNited States of Murka" is Moonbattese for the USA. The cause for panic is "the impending declaration of Martial Law," which will supposedly occur after the next terrorist atrocity.
But HuffPo has a solution -- violently overthrow the American government:
I think we're past Impeachment boys and girls. [...] I think we have to take matters into our own hands and round up what's left of the National Guard in each state. We then cut off the power to the White House and blockade the mother so no food or water can get inside. Then we start pumping marijuana smoke in until they have to evacuate the building. Smoke 'em out, to quote a famous military leader, the one with the codpiece on the flight deck.
Then we put Shrubby and Deadeye Dick, and anyone else left alive after the firefight outside the Rose Garden, in a cage so's we can haul them around the country behind a John Deere tractor. It'd be a 50-state tour, and we'd make sure to include the territories too.
Wanna make sure everyone has a chance to spit on 'em, don'tcha know.
And if there are those of you who are fetching pitchforks for Guantanmo-style justice and retribution, well, I will not say you nay.
Time to alter AND abolish it. Let's roll!
Sneeringly echoing Todd Beamer's historic phrase "Let's roll," which has become a rallying cry for patriots, typifies the progressive compulsion to defile anything worthy of honor and respect.
As stimulating as moonbats seem to find fantasies of violent revolution, they don't actually need one. In less than two years, the childish cretins who read and write for HuffPo will probably have an elected representative running the White House.
Have you read the latest about this evil beast. The two female children he violently raped and left alive. One of them had to undergo surgery because her genitals where that badly injured. What will we do for her? And still we have people wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty! This is insane. We have lost touch with the sacredness of life and living. Deport him? NO! Jail him for life? NO! not on my tax dollars. The bottom line is that this country has a responsibility to protect it's people not to protect the people of other countries but of our own. But people, we have the opportunity to protect lives across not only our country but others so lets take advantage of it and put this guy to DEATH. Let God have mercy on his soul and let us as a civilized society protect our most innocent-our children.
