King County Prosecutor candidate Bill Sherman, through his proxies at the state Democrat propaganda organ, the "Seattle Post-Intelligencer", published what may well be the lamest non-story ever to appear underneath a front-page headline: "Prosecutor's deputy asks lawyers to endorse boss". Yikes! An officeholder's subordinate supports her boss's campaign in a perfectly legal way. As if that never happens.
What Sherman's desperate, meritless complaint accomplishes is to remind voters that he has no administrative experience, no experience in the PAO civil division, little support from his colleagues, and less respect in the legal community than does his formidable rival, acting Prosecutor Dan Satterberg.
Indeed, Sherman has so few relevant accomplishments to boast of that his campaign is reduced to posting gibberish. [linked page removed, saved copy here]

That's the type of investigating our local press corps should be doing. But instead, we get contrived stories about hypothetical "wrong-doing
, that is, maybe-could-have-if-you-think-about-it-this-way-and-twist-enough-words "wrong-doing." You know, the kind of twisted and half-baked smear campaigns that have made people like Goldy famous!
Sorry to burst your bubble Mr. Sharkansky, but Satterberg is a cog of the same machine as Gregoire.
As written about on Crosscut Satterberg's campaign practices include his staff hitting up law firms that do business with, or appear in KC Courts, for donations. This is all the while proclaiming that his staff NOT be involved in his campaign, and to stay 'above the fray'.
I am reminded of Republican budget hawks who turn a blind eye when it is one of their own at the trough.
The only way we are going to see real results from reform efforts like your congratulatory work with KC Elections is for both parties to hold themselves accountable to their own standards - as well as ceasing to persecute any independent within reach who dares to ask for same.
