The Everett Herald put a local twist on a national news story I could have done without today...or ever. It's not the Herald's fault really. The story is too good not to tell, but this warning from the maker of the diet pill in question says it all:
"Until you have a sense of any treatment effects, it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants and bring a change of clothes with you to work," it advises.
At that point I'm a bit perplexed why many people would go with the product. Weight loss = good. Losing control of my bowels at work = bad. Is that an arguable point?

Posted by: swatter on June 26, 2007 06:59 AMOf course, they ALSO say that taking the pill can become a nice little threat to yourself: a reminder that if you eat too much fatty food, you will poop your pants.
They actually do say that: "While no one likes experiencing treatment effects, they might help you think twice about eating questionable fat content. If you think of it like that, alli can act like a security guard for your late-night cravings."
