I-25 Countdown: 8 days left to qualify

8 days remain until the June 20 deadline for submitting petitions.

If you have any signed petitions, mail them in today.

The initiative has almost enough signatures to qualify. 200 donors have contributed $120,000 ($18,000 in June alone!). Thanks to every donor and signature gatherer and to these elected officials for endorsements and fundraising: Sam Reed, Brian Sonntag, John Creighton, Reagan Dunn. But another $11,000 is needed just to pay for the remaining signatures. Now's the time for everyone who values fair elections to help cross the finish line, or elections in King County will remain tainted for years to come.

Please donate today. (If you had trouble donating online earlier, it was a temporary Paypal outage. Please try again)

And if you're one of the establishment figures who supports the concept, but hasn't raised any money yet, now's the time to make some phone calls and secure your place on the list of those who helped make it happen.

3. Well good luck. I know campaigns are hard to run, regardless of the amount of money you have on hand. As a firm supporter of I-25 I would support everyone, left, right, and center to sign and donate and volunteer into the home stretch.
