"Now, can we stop discussing the King County Elections office?"

Posted by: Piper Scott on May 18, 2007 05:18 PMI'd love to stop discussing the King County Elections office. Unfortunately, there's still so much to discuss...

Posted by: Piper Scott on May 18, 2007 06:10 PMMy favorite is....3 guys doing something they like to do? That is all it's about.
Then again....I do want to see what the hell they talk about instead of type about. :-)
Posted by: Dengle on May 18, 2007 09:52 PMIt will only discuss me as to how damn dumb people can be!!!
"NO" we don't have to play nice with the Islamic thug bullies I refuse! It's "MY" right!!!
My condolences. I realize how hard it is to listen to the shrill whining voice of David Goldstein. Fortunately with Postman and Mak there were other adults in the room with you.
Posted by: Jeff B. on May 19, 2007 12:34 AMA sign out front says "Convert to Catholicism today and we'll pay you $100."
KLOWNstein says "That's it, I'm converting now."
Postma says: "What do you mean, you'd throw out your faith, your people, just for money?"
KLOWNstein says: "It's a lot of money."
So KLOWNstein goes in the church. Postman can't believe it so he waits outside. When KLOWNstein comes out he says "Is it true, did they give you the money?"
KLOWNstein says: "Is that all you people ever think about?"
I wish he would ask why so many homos want more access to our children.
I was banned by the Olympian blogs for asking that question.
Go to their site and click on the comments for any given story and you will see what a sewer Olympia has gotten to be, especially since the Stalinist "Democrats" have taken copmlete control.
Posted by: Independent Voter on May 19, 2007 07:53 AMGood job of reiterating Lefstream media talking points. If only that were the actual reality, you'd seem like you cared about the troops. Instead, you recite the meme and use our soldiers as political pawns.
Go read the story here from the Army. Rational people take in to account what the Army is actually saying, and place that in the context of the logistical reality of supplying our troops, and not just what an anti-Bush media wants them to believe.
But you prefer to stay in the anti-Bush media cocoon. Because allowing yourself to see the wider reality would break your limited world view.
BTW, tell us too about how Bush blew up the Word Trade Centers to justify the war. Enlighten us, I know you've got it all figured out.
They have stupid ideas all the time!
Posted by: dcat on May 19, 2007 01:52 PMThey have stupid ideas all the time! Some are even twisted!!!
Posted by: dcat on May 19, 2007 01:52 PMHe could even win a war without losing a single American Soldier's life.
Could you explain to me why the American Taxpayer should be required to spend more on our military than all the other countries on the planet combined spend on theirs?
Check out what Ron Paul said at the Republicon Debate.
Ask yourself why Osama didn't attack Norway, the nation with the highest standard of living on the planet.....
The biggest mistake Bill Clinton did was not have the justice department do a complete investigation of Iran Contra, and put half the slime currently in our government behind bars for a few dozen years. Hey, if your buddies aren't killing priests with the arms you give them, what good are they right G. Gordon? Ollie? Chertoff? Negroponte? The rest.....
How many crimes do you have to commit to be part of the Bush Crime Family anyway Michele? I really love hearing the soundbite of Bush claiming wiretaps require warrants, and "nothing has changed" right?
How could you possibly support the lying bloodthirsty slime now in our White House, and complain about Bill Clinton.
Clinton was not the one that ignored 100 warnings we were about to be attacked, and did absolutely nothing. Remember the "Osama Bin Laden determined to attack" PDB that was flatly ignored? Tenet, and Cofer Black's trip to the White House to get Condi out of bed because we had a 10 out of 10 threat level, and the dirtbags never even had a meeting to discuss security.
Clinton did a thousand times as much to protect America as Bush did, and now look where we are. The world hates us. Get it? Put on an I Love George Bush T-Shirt, and go walk around London, or Paris, and see how long it takes before someone slits your stupid yankee throat.
Posted by: Facts on May 19, 2007 03:17 PMNow look where we are.....
Supporting the lying crooks in the White House at this time amounts to treason. Almost 1/4 of the Republicans also agree. They know what this gang has done to their (my old) party. They will probably never recover.
Good Riddance.
The marriage of Corporate America with the Talibangelicals.
What could be worse for the people of America or the world than that?

Posted by: Facts on May 19, 2007 03:58 PMHmmm. Was that because of all the crooks and cronies that he pardoned at the last minute?
Posted by: Bill Cruchon on May 19, 2007 04:57 PMYes... Mogadishu was such a success.

Posted by: Piper Scott on May 19, 2007 05:47 PMI'm sure Clinton had the ability to walk on water too.
Sadly, while Bill Clinton governed the country thousands of innocent unborn children lost their lives and he couldn't have cared less.
If you lefties want to play the Iraq War card on virtually every thread and act as if you care about human life I see no reason not to play the abortion card and reveal what you truly believe.
Barbarians.
Anyone who has spent time in Europe particularly among the elite knows that bashing the US is the ticket for entry into that club. There are some profound reasons for the hatred and those reasons are rooted in class and tradition. In England, even an individual who has been successful in commerce has a difficult time in breaking into the aristocracy. The elites use hatred of the US to deflect criticism for the lack of opportunties. There is a raging debate in England now over the tory leader's decision to withdraw support for grammar schools which is one opportuntity for advancement for the poor. The pubbies are about to have a civil war over amnesty as their base rejects the immigration proposal. Meanwhile, Carlos Slim, other oligarchs, and warlords are laughing all the way to the bank as they dump their social problems on the US. One thing I learned from my time abroad is the the elites which control government, the press, and social institutions have a stake in hatred of the US.
Weren't you the poster that on another thread said something to the effect that public education was not that important?
Hating the US is the opening gambit to entry into the European elite. But Facts, although you have the entry ticket, they would shun you because you lack the breath of knowledge and class that the group finds is lacking among their homegrown middle and lower class which they label as chav.
No matter how much you hate the current administration and wish for the return of Clinton, you would still be just a chav and a fool to them.
Now, to get back to the current thread of the three Jewish bloggers. Despite the fact that Sarkozy has Jewish blood, another hideous trait of the European elite is anti Semitism. Although, I love many things European, on the whole, I'll take this country any day of the week.
Posted by: WVH on May 20, 2007 12:17 PMAnd Bill, how many of your "unborn babies" were killed under Reagan. I would wager more than under Clinton. Either way, it's a BS dodge from the issues raised by Facts. Address them. Get off the tired old 'Blame Bill' BS. I can still remember the limp-brain rightwing response to Reagan's unconstitutional and impeachable Iran-Contra mess as something like like "ya, well, what about Carter?". Address the goddamn issues.

Task Force Ranger's assault on the Olympic Hotel in Mogadishu, in search of Aidid, results in a seventeen hour bloody battle in which 18 US soldiers are killed and 84 are wounded.
October 7
Clinton's response: withdraw troops
President Clinton decides to cut his losses. He sends substantial combat troops as short term reinforcements, but declares that American troops are to be fully withdrawn from Somalia by March 31. The hunt for Aidid is abandoned, and US representatives are sent to resume negotiations with the warlord. Two weeks later, in a letter to President Clinton, General Garrison accepts full responsibility for what happened in the battle.
