Ron Sims has announced that he will announce his pick for King County Elections Director tomorrow at noon.
Whoever is appointed to the post should expect to run for the job next February.
And please welcome Deanron2 by making a generous donation to the I-25 campaign to guarantee that he/she must be confirmed by a majority of the voters and not just a partisan majority of the County Council.

What is Katherine Harris up to these days anyway? She could probably use some work. I heard she spent her entire life savings trying to convince Florida voters she was not as pathetic as they probably imagined. I just loved her profile interview on Hannity. I think she was trying to win some sort of pagent, not talk about her stupid campaign.
There is a long list of democracy haters out there for hire Mr. Sims. Karl Rove has all their numbers. They even have their own caging lists! I am sure you can find someone that understands election fraud at a professional level.

I love hearing the good loyal Republicons crying their eyes out because of a couple small problems, all to cloud the fact that their party systematically discourages (illegally but rarely prosecuted) tens of thousands of people from voting every election cycle, using every dirty trick in the book.
Nothing makes me angrier than people messing with elections. Without fair, honest, and open elections, the people can not vote to change course.
Imagine how much better place the world would be, and how many million fewer people would hate America, and want to see us destroyed if Gore was the president.
I rest my case....
All the other ex-felons who didn't get the job will be irate. Lock your doors!
