The Bush Chain Gang Protests Karl Rove

Karl Rove was in town yesterday to speak at the 2007 King County Republicans Lincoln Day Dinner, so I trucked on down there to cover the inevitable protest. You can view pictures and my comments at this post on the My Own Side blog. At the bottom of the post is a link to the full gallery of pictures.

1. My guess is everyone of those "protesters" admires Cuba.

If they tried such a demonstration in Cuba against Fidel. They be have room and board paid by the State PDQ, about 4'x6' with a concret bed, piped in sunlight, and a hole in floor for necessities.

But of course I am brain washed by ChimpyMcBushHilterCheneyHaliburtonRoveExxonMobilRumsfled. So I don't really know anything.

2. JCM, that's like saying that everyone on SoundPolitics admires Hitler. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you realize how ridiculous (actually nonexistent) your reasoning is.

3. JCM,

Oh and albeit they all love socialism too!

4. Bruce,

Pelz, Sims, and the rest of the KCDP seem to have a soft spot in the head for the soon to be late Castro. I am repeatedly told about the fine medical, education and retirement system the Island Paradise has. So my guess is fairly well founded.

Just how many political protests does Cuba have?

5. Byron,

Thanks for all the great pics! I have a few videos I'm editing for distribution on YouTube. I loved the bobble-head dolls -- you can read my report from inside the Hilton here.

I had planned a photoshop project, but with protesters like these, who needs it!

6. JCM, what protesting Karl Rove has to do with Cuba is a mystery to me. For the record, I despise Karl Rove and Cuba's political system. I think Cuba's medical and education systems (I know nothing of its retirement system) are relatively good for such a poor country, but they're far worse than ours. Then again, Cuba and the US have almost identical life expectancy and Cuba has lower infant mortality, so we shouldn't be smug.

7. The Left is always dressing up in this theatrical type stuff. Never fails.

Also, they seem to obsess over Rove, while most republicans never think about Karl Rove. What's up with that??

8. Bruce, no one here admires Hitler in part because he was a socialist. "National SOCIALIST party." A lot on the left don't realize that. Either that or they act like they don't realize that.

Also, we might be smug about the fact that when Castro had his big, serious operation recently, he went to SPAIN to have it. Apparently he thought his own life expectancy would be enhanced by NOT having his surgery in Cuba.

9. Just once, it WOULD be fun to see this bunch do the same large heads and jail suits mimicking Castro and Osama bin Laden. But they never seem to make fun of the REAL bad guys.

10. Nice Byron,

You are the ZombieTime of the North. I always love your photo essays of the looney left. If the left was as creative with actually workable solutions as they are with paper mache and markers, they might do something useful.

I'm not holding my breath.

11. Jeff B. you hit the nail on the head!

12. I guess sarcasm and irony are lost on the left.

If BushCheneyRove were remotely guilty of half the stuff the moonbats accuse them of, how are "protesters" they allowed to "expose" the crimes.

13. I wonder if the readers here even know why the reality based community would want Karl Rove locked up, and for which crimes.....

14. Oh please do tell Facts. I could use a good conspiracy theory to start my day.

15. BDS and KRDS. The libs/lefties are rabid haters of Bush and Rove. They are unreasonable and irrational. And they are so boring. They are (as General Honore said) stuck on stupid. So very boring.

16. Facts,

Reality based huh? You mean like convincing yourself that 9-11 was a conspiracy, or that Bush is more dangerous than Hitler, etc.?

You don't get to decide what reality is. There is an independent reality outside of your political fantasies. But keep on believing in the Rove conspiracies, etc. It provides great free entertainment for the rest of us.

17. Doesn't it just make you wonder what they could possibly accomplish if they attempted to set their sights higher than creating marginally comic effigies?

18. #10 Jeff B

DITTO!

They must not be working folk because they have way too much time playing with paper, glue and markers. SHEESH!

19. Facts--
Perhaps you can focus your "conspiratorial alleged mind" on Sandy "The Magician" Berger's actions. You know, the KLOWN that makes files disappear and then reappear.
Put some energy into Mr. Berger's actions....you will be hearing his name a whole lot in the upcoming Election.

Hillary is joined at the hip by Bill....and Berger. Good luck "factually averse" convincing the average undecided voter that Berger does not = Hillary!!

20. Good lord when will people get off Bill Clinton, the man has been out of office for 6 years. He lied about having sex with a woman this hurt his wife and his daughter and the other woman but no one died. You will say that this man dishonored the office of the president.
George Bush lied and his organization lied about practically everthing they have done and misplaced emails, lost emails, stone walled congress etc and in the interim we have lost 3300 american soldiers to a LIE.
I cant understand what it takes to make those who think Bush and his gang are not criminally negligent.

Which is worse lying about having sex and no one dies or lying about WMD's and Al-Quida in Iraq and losing thousands of american soldiers lives and over 500,000 Iraqis.

All you bible thumpers on the right can chew on this a while.
