Karl Rove was in town yesterday to speak at the 2007 King County Republicans Lincoln Day Dinner, so I trucked on down there to cover the inevitable protest. You can view pictures and my comments at this post on the My Own Side blog. At the bottom of the post is a link to the full gallery of pictures.

But of course I am brain washed by ChimpyMcBushHilterCheneyHaliburtonRoveExxonMobilRumsfled. So I don't really know anything.
Posted by: JCM on April 15, 2007 06:02 PMOh and albeit they all love socialism too!
Posted by: dcat on April 15, 2007 06:46 PMPelz, Sims, and the rest of the KCDP seem to have a soft spot in the head for the soon to be late Castro. I am repeatedly told about the fine medical, education and retirement system the Island Paradise has. So my guess is fairly well founded.
Just how many political protests does Cuba have?
Posted by: JCM on April 15, 2007 06:53 PMThanks for all the great pics! I have a few videos I'm editing for distribution on YouTube. I loved the bobble-head dolls -- you can read my report from inside the Hilton here.
I had planned a photoshop project, but with protesters like these, who needs it!
Posted by: Patrick on April 15, 2007 08:59 PMAlso, they seem to obsess over Rove, while most republicans never think about Karl Rove. What's up with that??
Posted by: Michele on April 15, 2007 09:50 PMAlso, we might be smug about the fact that when Castro had his big, serious operation recently, he went to SPAIN to have it. Apparently he thought his own life expectancy would be enhanced by NOT having his surgery in Cuba.
Posted by: Michele on April 15, 2007 09:54 PMYou are the ZombieTime of the North. I always love your photo essays of the looney left. If the left was as creative with actually workable solutions as they are with paper mache and markers, they might do something useful.
I'm not holding my breath.
Posted by: Jeff B, on April 15, 2007 10:03 PMIf BushCheneyRove were remotely guilty of half the stuff the moonbats accuse them of, how are "protesters" they allowed to "expose" the crimes.

Reality based huh? You mean like convincing yourself that 9-11 was a conspiracy, or that Bush is more dangerous than Hitler, etc.?
You don't get to decide what reality is. There is an independent reality outside of your political fantasies. But keep on believing in the Rove conspiracies, etc. It provides great free entertainment for the rest of us.

They must not be working folk because they have way too much time playing with paper, glue and markers. SHEESH!
Posted by: kim in vancouver on April 16, 2007 02:10 PMHillary is joined at the hip by Bill....and Berger. Good luck "factually averse" convincing the average undecided voter that Berger does not = Hillary!!
Posted by: Mr. Cynical on April 16, 2007 02:52 PMWhich is worse lying about having sex and no one dies or lying about WMD's and Al-Quida in Iraq and losing thousands of american soldiers lives and over 500,000 Iraqis.
All you bible thumpers on the right can chew on this a while.
