1. I'm guessing the pressure by the Public for McKay to explain his Election illegal acts "investigation" is making McKay want to drift far away from this controversy.
Many people want to see precisely what McKay "investigated". Since McKay found nothing, those files should be available. He is probably ashamed to admit how little he looked at....particularly stuff made available by KingKounty post Trial. You know, the stonewalled documents.

2. Could it be that McKay has already done the job someone wanted him to do. The Democrat leaders sure seem to be pleased with the results of his efforts to avoid investigating voter fraud.

3. Why would McKay even think he could get his job back after the way he stabbed the DOJ in the back? He's out & he knows it.

I hope his successor isn't a closet Democrat, as I suspect McKay to be.
