"King County investigates apparent forgery of hundreds of voter cards"
King County prosecutors are investigating apparent voter-registration fraud in the 2006 general election.
Dan Satterberg, chief deputy to King County Prosecutor Norm Maleng, confirmed late Thursday that attorneys from his office will meet later this week to brief their federal counterparts regarding evidence that hundreds of voter-registration cards submitted in King County were forged.
Satterberg said "there are significant irregularities" among a batch of more than 1,800 voter-registration cards submitted to the county by canvassers for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), a national group that represents the interests of low- and moderate-income citizens.
ACORN, recall,
succesfully sued to prevent the state from verifying the details on new voter registrations. It also
reportedly pressured Dean Logan to count the
provisional ballots from ineligible, improperly registered "fatal pend" voters.

1. It's probably just a coincidence that this announcement comes right after another prosecutor was fired for not treating vote fraud seriously. Probably.
2. Oh...my...goodness. When are they going to throw these ACORN guys in jail??
3. All elections that include Kingco should be nullified and tied up in the court system forever. Queen Chris and the Democons 30 BILLION budget should be the eye-opener for even the staunchest of the left defenders...aaah forget it, we are SCREWED!
4. She should probably change her name from Chris Gregoire to Chris Acorn, seeing that she owes a big debt of gratitude to ACORN for her office.
5. At least the Seattle Times is following this story. As expected, the P-I conveniently ignores it.
Regarding Pierce County Auditor McCarthy....
I certainly believe her statement that she didn't RECALL seeing any similiar signatures on the homeless shelter apps her office processed...
WHY do I believe her?????
BECAUSE SHE PROBABLY DIDN"T EVEN LOOK!!!!!!!!
Watch the "wiggle words" people like her use.
Newspapers need to ask the obvious follow-up questions like---
1) Did YOU actually look at any of these registrations personally Auditor McCarthy?
2) Who in your office looked at these? What is there training?
3) Can you go back to the date ACORN registrations were processed and identify those with the same address?
4) Can you look at ALL registrations processed on a certain date?
Sadly, once these applications are processed, they are comingled. McCarthy can hide behind this. Good luck figuring out how to un-comingle them. This is the problem.
And we want to deny the public access to signature cards???
We want to just trust the Election Officials with no oversight ability after they are processed????
ACORN will simply find a better way to cheat--
Like bringing in small batches with numerous messengers...stuff like that.
Stefan, you are connecting the dots.
So ACORN is also going to sue it's fraudulent workers???? Yeah right!!!!!!!!!!
I can only hope some of these "patsy's" can incriminate folks up the slime-chain at ACORN.
Kudo's to the Seattle Times.
And another F-U to the P-I!
6. I saw the TIMES article in Saturdays Local section as well. Too bad Postman, the intrepid "Political" reporter isn't running with this scoop on his blog as of 8:00 am. The story is covered by Keith Ervin and Mike Carter, maybe Dave just didn't know about it. It's like with Cantwell/Dotzauer, you can't find what you are not looking for. But on the upside, it lets him booze it up with his Democrat buddies on the party circuit having his party hack credentials still intact.
7. King County is to busy spnding tax payers money changing the county logo rather than working to have clean elections.
8. This is just another Liberal "in your face - we defrauded the elections and have for years and you can't do anything about it"
Nothing will happen to the ACORN people. It was "moveon.org" that was responsible for most of the election fraud - (on numerous levels) of 2004.
Absolutely NOTHING was done about that. (I'd like
to know how McKay missed that one too..?)
McKay is taking so much unwanted heat right now in his handling of the 2004 election fraud - that his buddies are simply trying to throw a red herring into the frey. "Look here - we have election fraud suspects! They are at ACORN! Aha! - Don't look at McKays office in 2004...and the mountain of evidence of uninvestigated fraud and the liberal funded Move-on.org voter registration crimes!"
Sheesh! Timing is everything. Don't give the Seattle Times any credit....They are just playing the game.
9. Once again, awesome headline on this post!
10. Don;t forget the ultimate "Two Fer" McKay passed on last year. Thousands of illegal aliens marching for immigration reform and ACORN in the crowd registering them to vote. Wouldn't that qualify as a double Federal violation? Of course he might have had to walk across the street to investigate. He probably brought in a panel of experts and determined he couldn't find a problem, just not enough evidence presented.
11. It just part of "Chris" Lib-oire's new Legion of Felons (LOF for short) work of the day. With hundreds of felons now loyal to the Democrats for their freedom, there's no end to what these guys will do. Forgers, car thieves and assault specialists can be employed to misrepresent, fake and harass votes and the voting public.
Go Dems!
